Same here. Got permit in mid-April. Noticed I was in there the other day. I knew I'd make it in before the legislation. Prior to my discovery, I'd already cancelled my CA subscription and sent them a nice letter why (mainly their posting of this database). Hope their rag goes under soon!

Have seen some pretty sheepish looking folks (b&w) while in gun classes since the election, where the instructor has made some ever-so-slight comment about the Big-O and 2A rights. Like they're starting to see they screwed up in November.

This is good news for us in Memphis. God forbid we have a big quake here. I've talked with people from the Red Cross who said that if we ever had a big one, it would make Katrina look like a picnic. Hey OhShoot, Got my DM Bullard Dual Carry the other day. Did you happen to buy the leather belt loops (2)? If so, like them? Been thinking of maybe getting those. I don't plan on tucking. Really like this holster. Thanks for your help a month ago, in making my decision.

Just for grins, try the reverse: 9mm, then 1911 (assuming .45 here). But, as has been said: eat something. When I practice golf on the range, I start with short irons, working backwards numerically. It's a lot easier to hit a sand wedge than a 2 or 3 iron. Warmup time is essential.

I agree. Recommend all new applicants call after 3-4 weeks.

I'd personally recomnmend the G26. Highly reliable. Have heard enough negative on Taurus and have had a few misfires trying a friend's. Glock hands down. Yeah, a Mercedes is a bit much, I'd compare it more to the Honda Accord. You'll get 300k miles out of it, with very little trouble along the way. The most reliable gun made, IMO. And I love the standard sights that come with it.

I'll take the trigger on my M&P 9 anyday over the one on my G26.
