  1. Welcome - from another Memphrican!
  2. Welcome. Saw one of your 3 other posts the other day. Keep on going. Good group here.
  3. Yeah - I'm getting to it tonight. Weird. Have never seen that before. While on subject - anyone take their "new/revised" Street Handgun" class? Wondering if it's worth it. A lot of time and money (ammo costs more than class).
  4. Anyone knows what's up with their site? Getting "not found" all night. http://www.rangeusa.com/
  5. S&W has cleaned up their act on that topic.
  6. Any restaurant on Winchester is an optimal carry situation. Hickory Hood is moving east very fast. I could have died when the "On The Border" closed. Long and "interesting" story there.
  7. Good deal. Now we need to entice some of those "Northeasterly located" companies down here - where we're a lot more friendly to the cause.
  8. The wording of these types of "poll questions" shows their ignorance. Unfortunately I think a lot of anti's might have accidentally voted "no" - not really understanding the question.
  9. Actually just the other day. Guy had the handle of some "black plastic" just hanging out of the pocket of his cargo style shorts.
  10. Personally I'd call after 3 weeks. 615-251-8590. Have your DL ready.
  11. Personally I think that's a bad idea. Qualify with what you carry, or go back and do an "add a gun" re-qualifier (shooting part of the class only) later. If you get in front of a rotten DA trying to slam you with a "bad shoot" - I want to be able to show him/her that I "qualified" with the gun I used in the incident. Take that question out of the debate.
  12. Sounds like how mine went. Nothing fancy. You have to try to fail (below 70% I think).
  13. Yes, that will probably be the scariest class you'll ever attend. There must have been at least 4 people in my class who said it was their first time to fire. Sheesh! I hate hearing that. Not only from a safety in the classroom perspective (range), but also: what are these people going to do out there in the field with a gun? I see lots of potential for "bad shoots" and bad press for HCP holders.
  14. Well, what about these chains in other states? I've got to think a chain is going to be consistent across all "carry states". Maybe a franchisee gets away with doing his own thing? I hate Applebees anyway. Now if any Chilis here in Mempho posts, I will go into a deep depression.
  15. Agreed, if you are looking to stay w/ .40 - then the Glock 27. If 9mm, Glock 26.
  16. Yeah- sounds like the Mayor (d-bag) is not done figuring this out.
  17. Guarantee the a___hats in Memphis are wathcing this, ready to jump on the bandwagon.
  18. 71 to 28, No's are ahead. Vote No. Odd wording of question.
  19. I have a Glock and an M&P, both in 9mm. I'll take the trigger and overall feel of the M&P. Now, which one do I sleep better knowing it will fire everytime? The Glock.
  20. Well no surprise. The idiots here in Memphis/Shelby County will get wind of this and try it themselves. Short-lived joy here.
  21. Go for it Nikki! Thanks for all you efforts here, and I hope today's override brings you some small amount of peace. Godspeed
  22. Yep - that's it for me. Molly's was the site of our first date. We go back once in a blue moon, mainly because Midtown is just this...CRAZY! Was wanting to take our kids there, but now - no way. I won't give my $$ to psychos like this.
  23. What's the Big-O's middle name again?
  24. Guarantee G-town will ban them.
