  1. Amen. Another good day for us! Details? Comments from the judge?
  2. Yep, makes the Big O look even smarter!
  3. Too bad you got such a surprise. You can't talk with sense to these people, they get emotional right away and logic disappears from their mouths. If they thought logically they would not have the opinions they do. Good luck with this person.
  4. Yep, that's the wrong end of Beale, for sure. Guarantee you that club will not be within the "inspection zone".
  5. Great video.
  6. Just like Gov. Bredesen, showed his true colors.
  7. Point taken. I'm pretty sure the range has my info, short of the serial number (on my added gun). Was not that long ago.
  8. I've been in gun stores twice where idiot customers could have killed someone with their loaded trade-ins. It's the same reason they don't let you load in the store. There's enough guys behind the counters packing, that I feel plenty safe from some robber or psycho. BTW, anyone trying to rob a gun store (while open) is insane. I don't need to be loaded in there. I totally support these gun store postings.
  9. Ok, here's one vote in favor of what's called "add-a-gun". It's main purpose is CYA. In the event (God forbid) you ever end up in court. You are the defendant, and some POS attorney for the plaintiff is grilling you if you are HCP qualified for the handgun you shot the plaintiff with, you will be able to say "yes" and end that line of questioning. I might be an overly cautious sort, but I want to lessen the opportunity for some dirt-bag ambulance chaser. The range keeps record of your "added qualifier". You get a copy for your safe keeping. Nothing goes to the state on the "add-on" - not that I know of. Nothing regarding your weapon's serial number ever goes to the state, even on the initial qualifier. That got struck down a few months ago. It's about $30 for a little more peace of mind. Maybe it's just a racket for the range. You decide.
  10. Welcome aboard!
  11. Will be stuck here in Memphis, but would if I could. Take care. Don't give the "anti's" any ammo (no pun intended). Godspeed to each of you attending.
  12. A good quality hollow-point will make up for any (assumed) lack of KDF. I'm trusting my life to a G26 with a variety of JHP. If you're sold on the XD, I'd go with the XDm 9mm myself.
  13. I would not trust any safety to protect my kids. A parent is the best safety.
  14. Chuck, try RangeUSA ?

Mark3 Takedown links: http://guntalk-online.com/service.html There's a few vids on YouTube as well.
  16. Yep, St. Jude is in a crummy area of downtown. Be careful. As for the Rendezvous, it's the atmosphere that's the draw for me. The ribs can be hit or miss. Don't attempt a walk between it and St. Jude. Too far and going thru some of the worst parts.
  17. I listen to the NRA (Cam & Co.) at least a couple of times a week and have not heard this mentioned. They surely would have if this were true. Can't believe this, sorry.
  18. Memphis Area Ladies: There's a real nice S&W M&P 9mm (standard size) at Guns & Ammo on Summer. Saw it today. Pink backstraps. I've got the same model (minus the pink, ha ha) and it is a real sweet shoot. Cheers
  19. The only mistake our founding fathers made was in the numbering. You won't have the first amendment without the second.
  20. DM Bullard "Dual Carry" is great.
  21. Maybe they meant asshats. Idiots.
  22. That is the irony of this whole thing. Alcohol and cars don't mix! They've got a lot of nerve up on their moral high-horse. Start shaking those stats at them, and there is plenty to be had.
  23. Yep - good assessment here.
  24. Yes, get the "Luger-Style".
  25. Nothing shoots Remington bulk packs well.
