    Went shootin ..!

I'd say you hit him. Good choice of range.
  2. Yeah, agreed. I'll shoot them up. No sense in gambling with this. Thanks All.
  3. Ha, ha...I knew I'd get one of these...
  4. Steve's a decent guy, but sadly he's a free-spending liberal.
  5. Hey where's your pix? Didn't really happen without pix!!! JK...but seriously...how about posting some...? This guy does great wood grip work: Home Page
  6. Had a bit of a problem this week. Bathtub flooded into the next room where I had my ammo stacked on the floor. I got most of it out in time, but missed some boxes hidden in a corner. Found the rest tonight. They didn't get wet, but the boxes got slightly damp. I'd say they sat this way for 3 days. They were all packed in trays (styrofoam or plastic) inside the boxes. The were some of my better JHP ammo (of course). They never got wet, but I'd say the humidty factor was pretty high being inside those damp boxes. Think they're okay? Argh....

  8. They don't want to have to post. They want it banned everywhere so it takes the decision out of their hands.
  9. They moved to NC a year or two ago. I don't own one, but I've shot one at a range. Very accurate at 15yds. I was impressed enough to consider one next time I find some spare $...ha ha.

    Taurus Slim

Yep. kind of like Chrysler. They make some pretty cool looking, poorly made cars. I'd love to get a Judge, but...too many bad Taurus stories.
  11. Yes, it helps to read other writings of the Founding Fathers on the subject. In those you can really see the individual right manifested quite clearly. Some folks here have some very eloquent signatures bearing them. The 2A is written in a style, familiar in that time, that today reads kind of backwards. Based on what all I've read on the subject, my take on it is this: Individuals need to own their own weapons to facilitate formation of a militia, to preserve the free state. The use of the word "people" in the 2A declares the right as pertinent to the individual. The word "militia" has various meanings, as seen in other posts above. Some are more organized (or ordained) than others. The 2A is a bit more coy than some of the individual quotes of our Founding Fathers. They tell you right off who the likely enemy could be.
  12. +1 here OhShoot. It was almost as if they were waiting for me to call. They said it was just going out that day. Yeah, right. And we've all seen similar stories. No doubt I would call 3 weeks at the earliest. I mean, let's have a little patience. I would not wait to call beyond 4 weeks. I am 100% convinced calling helps move them.
  13. Same thing with rock music. Led Zep's song "Houses of the Holy" is not on the album by that name. It's on Physical Graffitti.
  14. Like to visit, but would never want to live there...even if I could afford it. Too "anti".
  15. I'm in Ben...thanks.
  16. Really thinking outside the box. Thought it was New Hampshire that had open carry, no questions asked. I might be wrong.
  17. I think Dan Wesson makes at least five 1911's I'd like to have.
  18. Yep, I think Arms Fair is the best priced FFL in Memphis.

    First Shotgun

Have an 870 and like it ok. Found the reassembly a pain (fore end into receiver mainly). Can't say about the Mossy on this topic. No experience other than dry handling. Do like the safety position on the Mossy better. I'd take a look at both.
  20. Good pro looking sticker. Love it.
  21. Glad to see another Memphrican here!
  22. Welcome...need more Memphricans on here.
  23. Welcome. We need more Memphricans here.

    Help me pick one...

    +1 on the DW CBOB....
  25. I may have been having my own tech issues. Weird, I'm working fine now.
