  1. Crap. Ok. My bad. WTFWIT?
  2. I think the best holster for the money is from D.M. Bullard. The "Dual Carry" model in particular. Leather, IWB or OWB. Good quality. Wait for me has been around 4-6 weeks. They have holsters for many popular models. Gun Leather, Concealment and Cowboy holsters, Azle, TX.
  3. Sounds like you got the Kali out of you. Welcome.
  4. Yeah, same here, I about gagged on MSSA's prices. Please post some info on Desoto when you join! Thanks.
  5. Yes, all fall victim to the 1911 disease. Once you have one...you start thinking about getting more of them. But then, everyone should have at least one 1911 of some variety.
  6. Carter, between GHWB and Ford.
  7. +1 Yep, this is what it's come down to. If anyone speaks out against this administration you are branded a racist. While I never agreed with Cohen on much, I thought he was decent guy at heart. Not any more. He's a dirt bag for joining in this race card throwing.
  8. You mean that sign posted on the doorway didn't stop this guy from shooting the place up? I'm shocked that anyone would just ignore a posting like that.
  9. Have a Rem 870 and sort of like it. Dislikes: placement of the safety. Mossberg's is in a much better spot. Reassembly of the forend on the 870 is a pain in the butt. I've not experienced the Mossy's, so I can't compare. Otherwise, it's a good reliable gun. But... I should have done a bit more homework before I bought this one.
  10. No exp w/ Ruger, but the M&P is nice. Good cust service, if needed.
  11. Nice heirloom. Congrats.
  12. People can get very comfortable with Socialism, if you give up and play their game.
  13. Amen. Happy Easter All!
  14. Link to story (the shoot)?
  15. A candidate's attitude on the 2A is the first thing I look at. I think it usually speaks to the rest of their values/attitudes. Obviuously being an anti is going to loose my vote.
  16. I have it as well. Rob's solid. Not as entertaining as Mas or Clint, but he knows his stuff.
  17. Not sure if you're a member on this site, but under the DW subforum I'll bet you can get some help. Maybe even from the DW guy who drops in there now and then. Good 1911 site: 1911Forum - Powered by vBulletin I want to say I've maybe even seen a thread like this before there (in DW subforum). Might want to do a search there first.
  18. Thanks David...yeah, I saw this after my post. Sorry for the irritation.
  19. This is some of the stuff I've been seeing tonight.
  20. Reason I ask is that I'm getting kicked out left and right in the last couple of days. Also getting messages related to mySql failures (depricating?). Very weird. Sometimes can't get the home page up. Sometimes can be in the middle of a thread and get kicked out going to the next page.
  21. Most accurate gun I've ever fired was a beat-up Para rented at a range.
  22. Can I put .38 spcl+P in it?
  23. If I could get in a time capsule and go back before I bought my first piece of tupperware, I'd buy a Rock Island instead.
  24. +1...I'd get a Rock Island before a Taurus, anyday.
  25. It's a single action trigger that does not require you to pull the hammer manually, unlike SA revolvers. The trigger moves straight back as opposed to being on a fulcrum (of sorts). The .45 acp round is the best carry round IMO. They were made for each other, literally. The thumb safety is a good thing, but not a have to have, IMO. I carry a Glock mainly. With single stacks the frames are narrower, making a more comfortable grip. Just a few reasons. Oh...ps...The best handgun ever designed.
