  1. Yeah, that knife is pretty cool. Anyone got a link for where to get them?
  2. No, haven't seen it. Got a YouTube or anything?
  3. Yeah, Blue Velvet was pretty "out there"...but good. Hopper was good in anything he did.
  4. Looks okay to me, as long as you're not too worried about fire. Most opinions seem to run that 1/2 hour is not enough. FWIW.

    COLT COBRA

Yes please. Did you need to ask?
  6. This is total BS. How does my attendance at Arlington equate to the President's? I'm about done posting anything on the political portions of this site. Too much crap like this.
  7. Probably need to ask the NRA what if anything can be done from a legal standpoint to shut up the Rayburn allies.

    Which 1911 and why?

Looks great. Good pics. Lube wll before shooting, and during first 500-800 rds.
  9. Amen, especially on this weekend. Many thanks we can never repay.
  10. Ok, fair points. I personally can't wait till this November, and moreso 2012. You can stop screaming now.
  11. That G27 is going to snap a lot more than the G26. Something to keep in mind. Pretty sure they have both at RangeUSA (to rent). Might want to take them and a few others for a spin.
  12. Ok, don't work at a place that doesn't post. There, done. Rayburn will post. I'll bet on it.
  13. Good story and an example of a "good shoot" gone unpublicized, 'cause it doesn't fit the liberal media's agenda.
  14. Part of what's wrong with this country is the loss of manners and respect for others. He has none. Yeah maybe I sweat the little stuff too much, but I'm sorry. It ALL matters when you're in his seat.
  15. Mike, good point. Who are this guy's handlers? Does he listen to them? Do they know these things either? The low bowing...I mean, really...has any of them at least watched Rising Sun?
  16. Jack, Barring something really hot cropping up...I oughta be there on 6/26.
  17. Yeah, yer right. They were just in PHX. NC's got less than great gun laws, kind of like TN.
  18. As I recall, last year he tossed his flower from a distance, on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, whereas everyone else present laid theirs upon it (as your supposed to do). It's one of two things with this guy: a) he's an idiot who does not know protocol/manners or he does this stuff on purpose to piss off folks like me. Either way, he just kills me. The low bowing to foreign leaders (some enemies), the Special Olympics comments, the Beer Summit...etc. The guy is just a rube.
  19. No toes stepped on here MK19. I agree with you for the most part. One of the scariest moments I've had was being on the range for the HCP firing test with a few folks who were almost bragging they'd never shot before. And then they proceeded to cover a few in the class. I think it's everyone's responsibility to get more training if not before the HCP, definetly after. I'm for sure not asking for more laws/requirements, in fact I don't think we need an HCP at all. But people have got to take some personal responsibility for this stuff. The HCP class and firing test is weak in my book. If that's all you've done...it's not enough. Rock On!
  20. Yup...I'd check out the S&W line. Nothing wrong with Rugers either.

    XD40 or XD9?

Two 9's is enough. Get the .40 or .45 (would be my preference). I tried to stay the course with all 9's. It gets old. Now also have these cals: .22lr, .45acp, .38spcl, and .357mag (kind of a two for one on the last two cals...revolvers are great).
  22. Ok, anyone see the whole thing? If so, please report. I just saw the last 20 minutes and the only 2A thing I heard was from a very nervous Joe Kirkpatrick. It was good: he'd abolish the need for an HCP. Too bad he came off as kind of flaky and very nervous. Heard none of the others really say anything on the 2A. Haslam was as slick as ever.
