CMC, Wilson...both good. Like the small bumper CMC better than the flush factory mags I have. A little "drop protection". IMO....the magazine is the most underappreciated, yet vital piece on the 1911. Good mags make for better feeding, especially JHPs. Don't go cheap on mags. And especially if you are going to carry.

DW fan here too. Commander Bobtail (CBOB), CCO (Officer), or the new VBOB are the way to go. My CBOB carries better than my G26. Have heard too many stories about unreliable 3" 1911's. For carry, I'd stick with .45 or 10mm.

Same here. Met Haslam and asked him the same question that Ron did. He gave the same answer, without really saying what he didn't like about MAIG. I don't think he can ever spell HCP. He is a real tool.

I finally got Avatar from Netflix (2D of course). I was prepared for Sigourney Weaver's political (anti gun) crap and she did not disappoint. However, I thought it was decent overall. It did steal lots of themes from: The Matrix, Dances With Wolves, and Aliens mainly. Oh yeah, worst movie: "Are We There Yet?"

Go on some of the Revolver forums and see what most people think about new S&W revolvers stack up against the old ones (pre lock, recessed cylinders, pinned bbls, etc). Most people prefer the old S&W wheel guns. That being said, I personally think overall the guns being made now are better. Semiautos in particular.
