  1. True that. Those 3 ladies can attack me anytime.
  2. Ruger triggers usually get a bit better with time.
  3. Haven't you heard, we're out of the recession?
  4. I'll be surprised if this passes, really.
  5. For sure. I did a good amount of homework on what I was after before using GB.
  6. Personal pref is local brick & mortar. Have used GB with good results. I would not be afraid of onlines.
  7. Going thru a lot of People's Republics of... Good luck.
  8. I dunno, Bass Pro is not too bad. They've had a lot in stock lately, well 9 and 40 mainly. Last week I saw a box of Remington .45, 100 rds there for 41.99 and at Guns and Ammo the same thing was 46.99. Yeah Jack, the old guy with the hearing aid (at G&A) is a real pip.
  9. Not I.
  10. Welcome back!
  11. Nice pics, guns and leather.
  12. The 1A is reserved only for the left. The right is just stupid or wrong, or both.
  13. Not watch'n what I was doing and hit "yes". Doh!!! Absolutely against it. I like the idea of just having county government covering what's not incorporated by anyone, be it Memphis, Germantown, Bartlett, etc. How does a consoldidaiton of Memphis and County help Germantown, Bartlett, and Collierville? I think they all get the shaft, while Memphis gets all the benefit. Eventually the schools will be brought into this consolidation mess and then it's "Katy bar the door!". Memphis is well in it's way to being the Gary Indiana of the south. Might already be.
  14. Yeah, what did Pelosi say: 'we have to pass it first, then we can read what's in it.'? There's some logic for you.
  15. A vote for hammered, but it really depends on the use. For carry, I'd prefer hammerless.
  16. They look good to me. I came close to getting an SP-101 a fews months back. Revolvers and 1911's have a lot of soul. Rock on.
  17. My G26 goes in a DM Bullard Dual Carry. Site says wait time, maybe 4-6 months? Yikes, guy got popular. Anyway, Under a 100 and nice quality. I have a couple of their things. Gun Leather, Concealment and Cowboy holsters, Azle, TX.
  18. TW25-B on rails when I broke in mine, first 800 rds. Now FP-10 on everything. Go to Wollf site for springs. Depends on 5" (Govt), 4.25" (or 4...Commander).
  19. Welcome!
  20. Nice. Who did the grips?
  21. I would think after shooting that 1911 your lust for a G19 would have lessened. Good to hear of a good Kimber story. They seem to run about 50-50 from what I can tell. Anyway, I have the G26 which I mainly carry, with Pearce extensions. In retrospect I think the G19 might have been a better choice (longer bbl). The diff in grip angle between the G and the Kimber might throw you a bit too.
  22. Public hanging on Court Square!
