After all the "Glock Butt" jokes they've heard over the years, if Glock had thought a thumb safety was a good idea he would have put one on long ago. Draw fast and reholster slowly. There is never a need to do a fast reholster. And of course, keep yer dang hook out of the trigger guard. Jeez. IMO the less safties the better. Now on a SA 1911, yeah...I can really see it, but that's about it.

The Bass Pro here in Memphis doesn't carry black rilfes (pretty sure anyhoo). Regardless, thats a good deal.

The problem will be in the primaries with all the Dems who will cross over to vote for the Repub they can beat the easiest. Barry will have no real opposition on the Dem side so there will be organized, purposeful, crossovers by the Dems. I see 4 more years of Barry, no matter who the Repubs trot out there.

I'd really like an all black 1911 Govt model, sans any plastic pieces. I read a few things on it (SR1911) since my post. Does not sound like a plastic MSH afterall. I'm a big Ruger fan...just wish it was black. Starting to think about the Springer RO.
