  1. The line of has been drawn in the sand. The war has begun.
  2. In still trying to decide. I think I'm leaning towards 30oz.
  3. Pellet gun? Get up earlier than the bird.
  4. I was trying to be respectful. I handed both license and CCW. He asked if I had a loaded firearm on me or in the vehicle. Told him I had a loaded firearm in the truck. Went from there. I was respectful and polite the entire time. Even dropped sir bombs left and right. Now, I won't even show my CCW unless asked directly.
  5. This happened last September.
  6. You say that, but cops don't know that. Especially here in Memphis. I was pulled over with my AR pistol loaded and in my truck. I showed license and CCW right off the bat. Told them there was a loaded firearm in my vehicle. I was ordered out by the cop and his partner. I had to stand with both hands on my tail gate until their supervisor got there. Was given a stern talking to about the firearm. I even had to prove it was considered a pistol. They were pretty reluctant to let me go. I the end, I still got a speeding ticket and they looked through my truck. Never assume the cops know the laws.
  7. I use an AR pistol. You can have it loaded and hidden if you have your CCW.
  8. Wow, glad this spawned conversation. I had forgotten about this. There was a group that called out Ohio Ordnance at the NRA show. I was around to listen. Yeah, they are 100% in support of the NFA and talked very highly of it. I get it. They want to keep the value of their investment up. On the other hand, the NFA is an infringement on our rights. It's restricting what we can own. I see silencers as accessories. It's like a cell phone case. Your phone doesn't need it, but it's better when you have one and can protect your phone. In the case of the silencer, it protects your hearing. I agree. The market would flip over night, but would steady out over time. Frankly, it'd be best for the manufacturers. Over time, they'd sell more. Many are put off by the stamp and wait alone. I see more benefits to releasing silencers overall. Every sector of the firearm industry can benefit from them. Also, I think the liberals heads would explode if they ever went mainstream and was released from the NFA. I'm fine with that.
  9. Choot 'em!
  10. Oh, I'm in as well.
  11. Finally finished watching this season. I want my time back. Horrible writing and sub-par acting. I think I'm done with this show.
  12. Just throwing this out there. You might want to try http://patriotpatch.co for manufacture. They make quality patches.
  13. It was a little too warm for his normal carry.
  14. Yet we have the cleanest natural water in the world here in Memphis. Just sayin.
  15. Could you not buy it as an individual and then put it on your trust or would that need a Form 4?
  16. Here's what I know: •CLEO must be notified (no sign off tho) •Must have fingerprints on file of trustee and co-trustees and all responsible parties •all Trust parties as above should have 2x2 photo sent in •will not have to repeat the above if you have an approval within 24 months I have a can on Form 3 now. Waiting for approval to do Form 4. This will be my last NFA item. The members on my trust have no desire to go through the fingerprints or photo part. In honesty, it'd be easier to herd cats.
  17. Just as an FYI, Terminal Ballistics Group did the same thing. I think they were finally shut down by the Feds or someone. They got people for $400 at a time.
  18. Didn't Obama sign the Small Arms Treaty and the Safe City Act that allows the UN to bolster our law enforcement for confiscation?
  19. Met him this weekend as well. I can see him being brash after a 10 min conversation. I'll leave it at that.
  20. Welcome! He does not need a back ground check to sell. However, depending on the offense, he probably shouldn't be caught with them either. If he consents, I don't see why you couldn't sell them for him. Maybe get him to type up a letter giving you permission. Dunno.
  21. There in lies the problem. I don't think we will ever see anything come off NFA. They are adamant about keeping the value of their investment. That includes helping write laws that will keep ownership down and value up.
