  1. According to her wording an interpretation, any guns that use roll pins, screws, aluminum, etc, that can be found or used on other rifles are now banned.
  2. Guess we are gonna see a run on Tavors now that it came out that the shooter in Baton Rouge used one.
  3. Nice! I seem to be looking for a unicorn myself. I'd love for a left side folder. Seems not many 5.45s are in stock anywhere.
  4. Yeah, those are the only two I saw. Looks like the DA a little better.
  5. Anyone know if a quality 74 in sub $1000 price range? I have a 47, but I'm really interested in the 545 round. Thanks!
  6. Yeah, wasn't taking a stab at you or anything. I phrased it poorly. It was more an open question in general.
  7. Lol, me and @Slappy got ours out yesterday. Talk about 11th hour...
  8. UNLESS you change your Trust if filling trust. Also, didn't they say there will no longer be Efile Form 1s? Here's the guidelines:
  9. So basically, you can't make a punt gun or blunderbus.
  10. Coyote Rifleworks does Trusts and is always there to help. It's in depth too. Mine is 26 pages of legalese. http://coyoterifleworks.com/nfa-trust
  11. Here's the fully decked out and natural light/color of the rifle.
  12. THE best build videos on YouTube They will definitely help
  13. I had been wanting to own a Bullpup rifle for years. I almost bought and FS2000 years ago, but decided to plop the money down on an Arsenal AK instead. Then the Tavor comes along and I kinda fell in love with it. This year at SHOT show, IWI announced they were going to release the Tavor in my favorite modern caliber, 300 Blackout. I finally decided to take the plunge. I preordered a Tavor SAR 300blk back in March. Initially, they were supposed to be released in April/May so I wanted to go ahead and get an order out there. Then it gets pushed from May to July. Back at NRAAM, I got to play with one and really fell in love. Then Tuesday I find out that they have been delayed until Q1 2017. I can't wait that long, especially with Hillary potentially becoming president in November so I went ahead and ordered a normal Tavor. Just picked it up. So I guess I'm finally in that Bullpup life. I love this thing. Anyone else into bullpups? Here's my new rifle: And mostly kitted up:
  14. Yeah, I got a long PM after... Other posts I made after were deleted too. i ended up doing just that. I stayed up way too late last night working on it and it comes down to two things. 1. Since it had the factory oil on it and was tackier than normal oil, that could have stuck the disconnect and held it open. I've since degreased the whole fire control group. It functions just fine. Did the function test. Pull the trigger and hammer releases. Reset hammer and let go of trigger and it resets. Functions great. 2. The HBI springs on mine may be too light and won't catch on after the blow back. This is my suspicion. Im going back to the range after work and am taking factory springs too. Also, it is assembled correctly. It fired 40 round perfect and accuracy is great. Otherwise, no problem.
  15. Didn't bash. Here's my original post that got shut down.
  16. Shot my scorpion for the first time and had issues with it. Not sure I should post it here tho. Doing so on another forum got my posting priveledges revoked.
  17. Mind was supposed to be here Saturday as well, but bounced around 3 different post offices here in Memphis until it found mine. By then, it was too late.
  18. It's got the HBI trigger springs, shoe, and I have the gear head works ambi-selector when it gets here tomorrow. I did polish the disconnector and mating surfaces. It's smooth. I will get one of the HBI charging handles. The OEM one does nothing for me. Not going to Form 1 it. Don't like the restrictions that places on me. I would like to take this anywhere without permission.
  19. First CZ product I own, I've shot a couple and fell in love. After playing with this at the NRA Show this year, I fell in love with it. It was either this or the Bren 805. I could afford this one. Got it Friday and already dropped a new trigger and shockwave kit on it. Love this thing so far!
  20. For whatever it's worth, Falkor Defense will no longer sell anything to CA Leo, agents, or any government official.
  21. Do it. The 5.45 is a great round. That's a helluva price for all that.
  22. They are also going full production on their grips too. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=80867.0
