  1. Hadn't heard about this place until reading this, I am in Collierville and it looks to right there with Range USA. I'll have to check it out and see what is going on there as well, always good to have more ranges and see if there is another decent gun shop in the area, more 2A folks the better. From the pictures on the website it looks like a pretty nice place. Fortunately, we have some family land where I do most of my shooting, always have bad experiences at these in-door ranges, waiting in long lines and the last 2 times I have been to Range USA the folks next to me have ended up pointing a loaded firearm at me, at which point it was time for me to go. Good luck to them!
  2. Thanks for all the help everybody, I'll pass the info along to the wife.
  3. We do have this taken care of already, fortunately.
  4. My wife will be going to London the first week of September and is really cutting into my gun purchasing here. Long story short, her sister went to UT and became close friends with a British exchange student with whom she has remained friends. Said Brit is now getting married. My brother in law can't go due to prior obligations and so the sister-in-law decided to ask my wife and I said yes for some reason, we aren't big travelers and its a great opportunity for her. Don't know why anyone would want to leave our farm in Fayette County for any reason, but that's just me. Probably the wrong day to post this, sorry, but King George still sucks! Anyone been recently who has some advice? What things to bring? Should we purchase the all access travel pass for tube and certain attractions? What places to see, places to avoid, any general tips besides the obvious, why the heck would you go there.......
  5. I just purchased a SilencerCo Omega and Harvester as well as a Dead Air Mask, pretty excited. Would love for HPA to pass and it would definitely be a boost to the industry and make it way more affordable for everyone. Was hoping for a more offensive approach to 2A and 2A accessories from this administration, but I just don't see it yet, still plenty of time, but we'll see. See the latest on the HPA? it was attached to the SHARE act. http://www.guns.com/2017/06/13/hearing-protection-act-before-house-committee-this-week/
  6. Just made my first NFA purchases, pretty excited, kicking myself for waiting so long, but such is life. I went through Tactical Investments here in Collierville, he had just gotten the Silencershop Kiosk and it really made it easy. I was the first to use it, wahoo! The SilencerCo deal of $200 rebate until 06/30 is well worth it, as you will more than likely need a number of accessories for your can if you are a rookie like me. When I registered the Omega they even gave you the option of getting another muzzle break in addition to the one that comes with it, along with a hat or pouch, and hat or pouch for the Harvester too. Here are my purchases: SilencerCo Omega SilencerCo Harvester Dead Air Mask The wait begins now, sounds like the dump from last summer is finally clearing, maybe I'll get them by Christmas???? Here's hoping..........
  7. Nothing today but a local domestic cat, freed it and took the traps home as we won't be back out there until next weekend.
  8. Yessir, as a matter of fact we did, got 3 raccoons, dispatched them and reset the traps again, will check them again today. Family friend was out ther duck hunting as well and got a drake.
  9. We set out 6 raccoon traps this morning, hoping some nice coon skin caps will be in the works tomorrow afternoon, haha.
  10. Looks like it was introduced again this week, so here's hoping.........
  11. Are these domestic or have they been introduced to the area?
  12. Dead coyotes, love to see it!
  13. Got the FoxPro Inferno call, looking forward to breaking it in after deer season is over. We have been hearing a bunch of yotes on our morning hunts, awesome to hear, but man I hate them. We got some dog proof coon traps, we haven't set them out just yet at the family plot, but life keeps getting in the way. Was told by a friend to try putting castor oil around the traps just to draw them in a bit with the odor, anyone try that? Hoping to knock out some of our coon population here before trapping season ends, pretty sure we see them more than anything else on the game cameras unfortunately. Would be great to get rid of some of our coyotes and raccoons, help out our turkey and deer numbers a bit.
  14. Looks like it was a great hunt! Congrats! Would love to try them one of these days, actually just watched the episode of Meateater where they were hunting them, enjoy the good eats!
  15. I have the standard wood stock one for my son, he is still on the young side, but I have had some fun with it, thinking I need to get this one as well. I saw IraqVet8888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 had a video of a cricket he customized and with suppressor on the youtubes, would be awesome!
