  1. Nope, he's right. Have had several customers and a few former coworkers lets the smoke out of electrical components. Kills the component quick.
  2. Heck, I figured all the hardware was just security for any event at the Fairgrounds in Nashville.
  3. Here's my pitiful centerfire entry. Surely one of y'all can beat that, can't you? May add rimfire entry later.
  4. The Lee turret press is a compromise between a single stage press and a progressive. I don't have exact figures in front of me, but my entire reloading setup, with the Lee turret starter kit, a tumbler, etc cost about 200- 250 bucks. I've had a couple of issues with my press, but mine is the only one I've ever heard of that has had problems. Maybe I just got a lemon? In any case, I'd still recommend them to start out on. That way, if you decide that reloading isn't for you, you're only out a couple of hundred bucks and can probably get your money back. Granted, if you have the money and desire to go big right out of the gate, Dillon makes a couple of great progressive presses. I'm looking at possibly moving up to one soon. The nice thing about the turret press is that you can change calibers very easily. Just buy a turret for each caliber you want to load (about $10.00), and once you set your dies up, you can just swap out the turret assembly. I see you're in Nashville, I'm just north of you outside Gallatin. If you want to find some components, you're welcome to come up and load some on my turret press. I have dies to load all three of the pistol calibers you mentioned.
  5. Wasn't there an issue with the Loews hotel a few months ago? I don't recall for sure, but I think they cancelled an event because the speaker was going to talk about radical Muslims. Does anyone else remember that? Was that at that hotel, or a different one?
  6. I'm not sure if he can help you with the finish work, but talk to Jeff Walle up at Guns N Leather. I dealt with him Friday, and he's a great guy. I'm sure he can take care of the trigger issue, and if he doesn't do refinishing I'm sure he knows someone that does.
  7. Welcome! If you're submitted your paperwork at the DMV and been fingerprinted, call and check on the status of your application. For some reason, that seems to speed the process along.
  8. You could contact Hornady and see what they tell you. It does look like a shotgun press, and I don't there's any way to load rifle or handgun cartridges on it. Check into some of the starter reloading kits, you should be able to get set up for a few hundred dollars. Check out these guys for info on your press. http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewforum.php?f=13
  9. And corrupting the children at the same time! The world needs more folks to corrupt their kids like he has. Don't worry man, when they come for you I'll bring bail money.
  10. She probably won't accept the job, because it probably doesn't pay enough for someone of her obvious intelligence. Out of the box thinker? No. Who's more likely to play the "Waaa, they didn't do it for me! Waahhh!" card, an out of the box thinker or someone playing the victim card? If she does take the job, I doubt she lasts long. At that point, I wouldn't be surprised if she sued The Ski Channel for discrimination of some sort.
  11. Someone, somewhere, will pay for that. But not me. Unless you want to include the bacon, warm it up, and hand it to me through a window. At that point, I'll give you a dollar, maybe a buck fifty, cash money. You can't beat an offer like that.
  12. What's next, sue because the job they help you find doesn't pay what you want? This is right up there on the list of "Dumbest Lawsuits".
