  1. That guy can vote. That guy can have kids. Sometimes, stupid decisions are not instantly painful. Other times, the beer just needs to wear off.
  2. Well. Not just any Glock, but the Glock 18 was exalted as all a handgun could aspire to be. I've seen a few episodes of the show. Not an encyclopedia on weapons, but still fun to watch.
  3. Watching it now. The 1911 had it's moment in the TV sun, then the Uzi, now we're beginning the Glock love fest...
  4. Good looking truck. I've had two 7.3s, an old body style and an '02. Loved them, will be looking for another soon I think. I'm not a 6.0 fan, but in my opinion they had most of the issues worked out by late '04, early '05. Nice truck!
  5. A couple of years ago I was in a shop with an indoor range, and was kind of halfway interested in a used G36 they had. Not only did the clerk offer ti field strip it for me, but when it was clear that I was actually interested, and not just kicking tires, he grabbed some ammo and let me shoot a magazine through it in their range. I left with the gun, a holster, and some ammo. I have no problem with people wanting to inspect a field stripped gun, or even shoot it if there's a range available. However, I generally prefer that the seller field strips it. That way, there's less risk of someone unfamiliar with the gun goofing something up.
  6. I think I'll drive over for this. I'll bring a handgun, maybe even learn something about shooting it.
  7. If, somewhere, the OHGC is indeed active, it's no longer affiliated with the range.
  8. It's good to hear that he seems to have gotten it. I also emailed Ralph after his station, and his show, picked up Uselton as an advertiser. I was very impressed with Mr. Bristol for having Rick on the show for an hour to answer questions, including some about the article in the City Paper. That said, I'm not convinced. I was very impressed with the way Ralph Bristol handled the situation, but unfortunately I don't feel the same about Mr. Uselton. Anyone know how that lawsuit against the City Paper turned out? I hope he's gotten things straight and he can do well. I don't forsee myself frequenting his shop, though. Aside from the prices, I have a couple of shops that are much closer to home, and their stance on the rights of the people have never been called into question. Plus, they help make it possible for me to waste so much time here!
  9. I appreciate the offers, y'all. I may be in touch when I have more time in the next week or two.
  10. Glad to hear it! I tried to get down there, but didn't get home in time. Glad to hear all the voices were on our side.
  11. I understand now, I think. I get the shell plate, for sure. The drop tubes have to be caliber specific to match up to the case, I assume?
  12. What are they calling the shell plate? The shell holder? What're the caliber specific buttons and expander/ drop tube for? Does the expander replace the case expander die?
  13. Good looking repair. Glad to hear it runs right.
  14. What about the caliber conversion kit? Do you have to have that, or can you simply change out the dies to change calibers? Really appreciate the advice, I think I'm close to ordering one of these.
  15. I take it the powder measure, primer feeder, etc was included with the press kit?
  16. Looks real nice. What did you end up ordering with it?
