  1. Last time I went by the building was blue. I believe they just put in a stoplight there, right before the bridge.
  2. If I had the money now that I invested in paintball stuff...Like you, I spent several grand on my stuff, not to mention all the buying, selling, and trading I did before I settled with something. I checked the used prices a while back, my almost $2,000.00 Matrix is worth about $500.00 now I think. Where did you play in Memphis?
  3. I played for a few years, worked at a field and a paintball store. Haven't played in years...
  4. I didn't realize Ruger still made a .30 carbine revolver. I wouldn't mind having one.
  5. Could you remove the toilet and shorten the pipe yourself, or make a spacer to go between the bottom of the toilet and the floor?
  6. What problem are you having? Odds are you can fix it yourself, toilet parts aren't expensive.
  7. How did HR know she had a permit? New job, background check?

  9. I'd be in if it were local. I would also caution against starting too big. I'd say start in whatever portion of the state had the largest number of willing volunteers, then others might drive over once every few months? As for a chase truck, I know this guy with an antique dump truck, that already has a TGO sticker on it...
  10. It's just another way of saying "Thank you for doing what you do."
  11. Hedge apples are pretty good, too. They explode pretty well, even being hit by a .22.

    First AR build

Depends on the kit you buy. I'd recommend buying an assembled upper, then a stripped lower, lower parts kit, and your buffer tube/ stock assembly. If you can link to the kit you're looking at, someone will be able to tell you more. Likewise, before you buy a 'kit', price out the components from the vendors here. You might be able to get a better product for the same amount of money, and the service is definitely worth buying local.
  13. Never worked on a Saiga, but have dealt with many broken taps, easy outs, drill bits, etc... First, can you grab the tap on either end with some vice grips? If so, try to turn it back and forth, see if you can get it to move in either direction. Try shaking the gun, or using a small magnet, or some compressed air to clean out the hole the tap is in, so it doesn't get hung up on something. Again, depending on how the tap is broken, you might be able to weld a nut on one end of it and turn it out that way. Worst case scenario, taps are brittle. I've had success in the past using a hammer and a punch to actually break the tap apart inside the hole, then pull the pieces out with some needlenose pliers and a magnet.
  14. I have a Ruger MK III, they run 250-300 new around here. I love this gun. It had a few feeding and ejection issues for the first couple hundred rounds, but it runs great now. I've put Federal and Winchester bulk packs through it, it seemed to like the Winchester a bit better. Really accurate, and just a lot of fun to shoot. There are some .22 wheelguns out there. H&R used to make some, I know Charter Arms makes a snubnose version. I think S&W has a few, also.
  15. Considering the odds of an innocent bystander being injured by a FTF round that was ejected out of of a gun during a self defense shooting are so, so, so slim, I wouldn't worry about it.
  16. I've heard really good things about The Beltman. Comp-Tac offers a belt also, not sure where they're made. Lots of holster makers offer good belts. EDIT- Apperantly w w w. t h e beltman.com is not the correct website. That seems to link to a golf school. I'll try to find the right address.
  17. I usually use UPS. Box it up well, and take it to an actual UPS center, not a UPS Store. The UPS Stores that I have talked to will not accept ammunition shipments, they tell you to take it to an actual UPS center. All they've ever asked me to do is take a marker and write ORM-D on the box somewhere.
  18. HK P30. 15+1 9mm, ambidextrous mag release on the trigger guard and ambidextrous slide release. V3 is DA/SA with a decocker. Three different sizes of grip side panels and backstraps, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a comfortable combination. Definitely worth looking into.
  19. I watched the Predators barely pull out a win over the Senators.
  20. I heard on the radio today that the PerMobile company will be expanding their power- wheelchair facility in Lebanon over the next year or so, and plan to add about 85 new jobs. The Thornton's gas station on Hwy 109 in Lebanon had on their sign that they're hiring for the new store about to open at the corner of Bellvedere and Long Hollow Pike/ Hwy 386 in Gallatin. I wonder how many of the folks that applied at GE currently have other jobs, and just wanted to try and move to a better one? I doubt all 10,000 applicants are unemployed. Most of them probably, but not all. There are good jobs out there that companies can't fill. However, they're a bit specialized. I know of a company right now that wants to hire some parts people in Knoxville. Unfortunately, they need folks with experience specific to that field, that don't need much, if any, training.
  21. I've used GunZilla on some handguns, no problems with it, and no brown stuff. Could the GunZilla be dissolving the remnants of cosmoline on the rifles?

    Titans

According to the announcer, the Patriots have set a new franchise record for most points in a game in franchise history. How did the Nashville Sounds do this year? It would be nice to have at least one winning team in Middle TN.

    Titans

I've been watching the game off and on. I'd say the snow could be partially at fault, but...yeah. Even with the snow, they shouldn't be down 52-0. New England pulled Brady, I think Vince is going in for the Titans.
