  1. I'm pretty sure they listed all their primers and powders in their printed catalog. I don't have one right now, but I'm sure you can get them to send you one, or just pick one up when you're in the area.
  2. They don't list it on their website, but I'm almost certain I saw powder prices up on the wall when I was there. You can call and check to be sure. Champion's Choice 201 International Blvd LaVergne TN 37086 615-793-4066
  3. I bought small pistol primers at Champion's Choice a little over a week ago for $28.00 plus tax per thousand.

While the Guiness may require a better platform than the average American beer, few commercial beers rise to Battle Mug level. Boddington's Pub Ale is Battle Mug quality for sure, along with most homebrews. Homebrews only viable if mug is equipped with optics, though.
  5. edspublicsafety.com's Photos - GLOCK gen 4 4th generation GLOCK | Facebook Ran across that earlier. I'll have to try one, the interchangeable backstraps may sway me over to the dark side. Looks like the Gen 4 may not be compatible with earlier magazines, though.

  7. So, am I okay with a lever action 30-30, 12 gauge, or .25?
  8. The 2009 winning recipe at the link Garufa posted sounds pretty good, Margaret Nadeau's Sahara Chili. I may try to fix that sometime this week.

    Great Deal!

300 is the least expensive I've seen any AK in quite a while. I'd like to try an AK, so at least with one of these I'm not out five or six hundred bucks if it turns out I don't care for them.

    Great Deal!

I've looked around, all the reviews of them I've seen are for the polymer stock version, and it appears that they vary greatly in quality, including the use of outsourced receivers. However, they were usually sold for anywhere from 500-700 bucks. I wonder if the wood stocked variants are different in any ways other than the furniture?
  11. Alright, it's that time of year. What are y'all's favorite chili recipes? I don't really have one, which is why I ask. I've tried a couple of different ones, even the chili 'mix' from the grocery store, and none of them really stood out as great.
  12. Welcome. Anyone can buy guns in the classified section here, but you must be a Benefactor member to list guns for sale or trade.
  13. I like the Precision Delta bullets, too. I've loaded a few hundred of them, they've done pretty well out of my gun.

    Great Deal!

Thanks buddy. There's a chance I may be in Knoxville tomorrow, if so I may try to get up there. I'm going to try and find some reviews on these guns first, though.

    Great Deal!

Where are they located in Sevierville? Like the others said, plenty in stock?
  17. Contact Champion's Choice in LaVergne. They're a mail order/ catalog sales place, but they have a local sales counter. I don't have their phone number handy, but I can tell you how to get there. Take I-24 to the Waldron Rd exit, number 64 I believe. Coming from Murfreesboro, turn right. Go past the Pilot, the Arby's, etc... Turn right at the 3rd light (first red light once the road goes down to 2 lanes) and it's the big blue building on your right. Drive around to the back and there will be a door with a sign above it that says "City Sales" or something like that. Your other local option that I'm aware of is The Reloader's Bench in Mt Juliet, but Champion's Choice has better prices and they're closer to you.
  18. On the heating problem, are there two units or just one? Some houses have a unit for the upstairs and a separate unit for the downstairs. Make sure neither one is set to "Emergency Heat" or "Aux. Heat". Otherwise, I'm not much help. Hope y'all get it figured out!
  19. No fridge in the shop, but the stove should hopefully keep it above freezing in there.
  20. Yep. I got mine at 18. If I recall correctly, in Tennessee you're only allowed to go 150 miles from your home terminal, and must stay in-state. It would be hard if you got paid by the mile, but I was recovering, repairing, and road testing trucks, not hauling freight.
  21. A few flakes falling here, but it's disappearing about as soon as it hits the ground. Got the wood stove in the house going, will probably head out and fire up the one in the shop before long so it'll be warm by the time I get out there.
  22. I agree that the law is unconstitutional, but the way to fix it is not by breaking it anyway. Our freedoms have been eroded piece by piece over many years, and I would argue that the best way to get them back is not to try to go for them all in one shot, but to build them back up, piece by piece. Have a problem with the NFA laws? Alright...first let's get suppressors off the list. They lessen hearing damage and noise pollution. Then we can work or short barreled rifles, etc, and work our way up the list. I think it's going to be a long, hard, expensive fight to get the NFA laws done away with, if it can even be done. Regardless, I don't think think breaking the law is a good stepping stone toward getting it changed.
