  1. My first vehicle was a 1964 Ford F-350. It had an 11' flatbed with a wood floor, dual rear wheels, and a 4 speed manual transmission. I had a few other Ford trucks, put a combined 350,000 miles on two 7.3 liter PowerStroke trucks (both of which are still going strong). Now I drive a 1956 Ford F-350 with a 9' flatbed with a wood floor, dual rear wheels, and a 4 speed. I thought new vehicles were supposed to be...well, new(er).
  2. Beware the belt! It's been a good belt, as far as belts go, but it's not really made for carrying a handgun. Yes, it's a 1.5" belt, yes it's about 3/16- 1/4" thick. However, after a couple of weeks of wear, it gets very, very pliable. Not a bad thing, unless you want to hang something heavy (like a handgun) on it. It does an okay job for IWB carry, but I wouldn't attempt OWB carry with it. Let us know what you think of 'em.

    Marlin 1894C

Auction has ended? Nice looking gun, though.
  4. Be sure you let them know that before they work on it. Most customers don't care, and it's usually SOP for all damaged/ bad parts to go straight to the dumpster.
  5. I've said it before, never heard of jets causing a leak. Not a dual carb expert, though. Might be something weird going on there. Fuel valve seems possible. Baddawg made a good point, the fuel tank vent could be stopped up. Under the right atmospheric conditions, the pressure difference could cause a leak. Not sure how the bike would be vented, though. Some stuff uses vented fuel caps, other stuff has a separate vent hose somewhere.
  6. Do note, they offer odd sizes. You don't have to size your jeans in 2" increments, you can get the size that actually fits. That's why I originally bought a pair. Since then, I've been very happy. One pair of Gusset jeans has outlasted several pairs of Wranglers.
  7. Diamond Gusset jeans. Made in Georgia (the state, not country) from US grown fibers, and the only brick and mortar store is in Bon Aqua, TN. The most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. Diamond Gusset Jeans | Official Web Store
  8. That's not too bad, actually. Career change in your future, maybe?
  9. Game over! USA wins, 5-3! USA is 3 of 3!
  10. Scored it one handed, on a backhand shot, as he was falling. Awesome.
  11. Wow y'all are quick. I believe that was Rafalsky's 3rd goal, for an Olympic hat trick.
  12. The US will go into the 3rd with about a minute left on the powerplay, too.
  13. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. We appreciate the sacrifice y'all have made for our country.
  14. About 12 minutes left in the 2nd, tied at 2.
  15. There are no restrictions on selling unprimed brass that I'm aware of, regardless of their residence. Same with loaded ammunition.
  16. I'm not a big Olympic fan, but I watched a bit of the biathalon earlier today. Cool stuff. Interesting hockey fact, Olympic ice is larger than NHL ice. The NHL opted for a smaller size to create a faster, theoretically higher scoring game to keep the fans interested.
  17. Puck drops in just a few minutes. Anyone else watching? *EDIT* Update- 41 seconds in, 1-0 for the USA.
  18. Very cool. For those of us that aren't familiar with Sigs, what are the models of rifle and handgun in that picture? The rifle barrels look shorter than 16" to me, are they full length or SBRs?

  20. The state of TN does not register handguns. The only record of the sale is if you bought the guns new from the dealer. If so, the dealer has noted in their records that you bought the guns, the government has no knowledge of it. If you want to sell them and are concerned about it, simply have the buyer sign a bill of sale. There are various opinions on paperwork for a private gun sale, there was a discussion not long ago on here about it you could probably find. Some folks do it, some folks don't, the law doesn't require any paperwork for a sale between two private TN residents.
  21. I was about to PM you to see how this was going. Glad you got them there!
  22. How close is 'close proximity'? Would it be possible to shoot it one handed, on the side without the watch? Seems like if it could function when that far from the watch (2' or so) it could still be used against the owner if it was lost in a struggle. I feel like I've heard of this before, designed to keep your own weapon from being used against you. Interesting concept, though.
  23. It wouldn't be a bad idea. Just make sure you order a 3 hole turret, not a 4 hole. The 4 won't work properly in a 3 hole press.
  24. Former vet said that. I only put the electronic collar on him when he's going to be outside. The main reason I bought it is the 'tone' feature. He may go off into the woods or down to the barn where he can't hear me whistle, but he can hear the collar start beeping when I push the 'tone' button. It didn't take him long to learn that the tone was the same thing as being called.
