  1. Sitting about 5 feet from me. I'm sorry for the delay, I'll get my additions to the box together and have it up again shortly.
  2. I was wondering if y'all would be open tomorrow. I'm planning to come down.
  3. Here's one for the 4th of July.
  4. I can't say anything on the efficiency of ethanol, but I have seen a sign advertising at at the Pilot truck stop in Crossville, exit 320 off of I-40. I believe that the Thorntons outside Gallatin at the corner of Long Hollow Pike/ Hwy 386 and Belvedere Drive has it.
  5. You might try Jones Soda. They're made with real sugar.
  6. YouTube - The Statler Brothers - Do You Remember These (1982 performance)
  7. The catch is the rifle you buy online has to be shipped to an FFL dealer in TN, then you have to pay a transfer fee (usually between 20 and 30 dollars) at the gun store before you can take the rifle home. By the time you pay the transfer and shipping cost, there usually isn't much cost advantage to buying online.
  8. You find all the cool stuff. If you happen to find an M715 in decent shape, let me know. I found one here, but was told the guy doesn't want to sell.
  9. Rossi Ranch Hand | The Firearm Blog
  10. That might be fun to SBR with a full size stock, but not for $500.00. I'd be interested at around $300.00.
  11. I recall several years ago, a group of homeschooling parents were trying to use the 'distance from a school' law to stop an adult bookstore from opening. I don't know how the situation turned out, but there actually could be a legal precedent for homeschooling homes being considered school facilities. I'll do some research and see if I can find any details on how the bookstore thing turned out.
  12. I don't know how it would work for you, but the Dell facility is very close to the airport and has a huge parking lot. Might park there and get a taxi to the terminal? Not sure how Dell would feel about that, though.
  13. The auto index automatically rotates the turret with each pull of the handle, vs having to rotate the turret assembly by hand. It may be a little faster, but unless you're using a powder thrower I don't think you'll see a big difference.
  14. Handloading Cost Calculator Try that for a start. I haven't done the math on mine for a while, but I think I recall saving 4-5 bucks on 50 rounds of 9mm vs WWB. More uncommon calibers add up faster.
  15. Not familiar with that one. I'm looking for a few more uncommon lights, but I'm tempted to pick up an E1B or a new LED Aviator. An M4 would be nice, too. Or anything else interesting that comes along.
  16. Thank you, you've got a nice group of lights yourself. The violet lights are a 'limited' edition called the WineLights. E1 and E2-W lights. They're standard E1 and E2E lights, sold with the low output bulbs and anodized in a special color. The knurling feels a bit less aggressive, too. The story I heard on them is as follows: A Surefire executive, or friend of an executive, was a wine connoisseur. Part of enjoying a good wine, from what I understand, is the color and in some establishments the lighting is rather low, making it hard to fully appreciate the wine. As a result, the individual began carrying an Executive series flashlight with which to examine the color if the drink. He grew weary of carrying the OD green, hard anodized E series, so a 'special' run of WineLights were produced. The story could be a complete fabrication, but that's what I've always heard. I don't think they sold especially well, because a while back a vendor sold a set of the two lights for an incredible value. Now, they're not quite 'common', but I don't believe that they're especially rare. Kind of cool, though. There's a specific Winelight display out there that has the Surefire logo on a wine bottle, and a space for each of the two lights. I'd love to find one.
  17. Don't see how ammo could do that, but I'm no expert. What brand rifle/ bolt was it?
  18. Small shot of part of the collection. Pictures or it didn't happen. I have a Streamlight Stinger in my work truck, good light. Only one of their products I've used.
  19. Anyone else here actually enjoy flashlights? I can't be the only one, so I figured we needed a thread for pictures. I'll get one of mine up here shortly.
  20. When I click on a person's name underneath the 'last post' tab, and hit the 'View Profile' link, I get the following error: Fatal error: Checking if a package is enabled for an invalid package '3' on line 392 in [path]/vb/types.php in [path]/vb/vb.php on line 287 Question two, how do I put a link in my signature as text instead of a url?
  21. You'd be surprised at hown many people look into a light when they turn it on, even after they're warned. :) As for the light not fitting, I've heard of the same issue on some Sigs.
  22. What is the difference in using Tapatalk, or using the browser to go to TGO?
  23. The tree guys I've talked to usually don't mess with trying to mill anything due to the chances of a 'yard' tree having nails, screws, steps, etc embedded in the wood. That, and it takes more equipment to handle 8-10 foot sections of timber instead of 2-3 foot sections.
