Just found out today you don't have to Engrave the SBR at all. Why all the misunderstanding.

When you get Engraving does it have to be visible? I don't like how HERO puts that on the side of the lower. What maufacture will send it to the FFL ready to go as a SBR?

Are you just sighting in or shooting on a reg. bases. I am calling practice, shooting on a reg, bases, ( all year long ) . I would say in general the hunting bullets would be more. You can't hunt with FMJ, ok you shouldn't hunt with FMJ

.243 will do the job, Deer and Coyote alike. I have the savage 110 its a great rifle. I use the 100 grain for both game. The only negative is that you are limited to hunting bullets when buying from big box stores. If you wanted a FMJ for practice, well I have not found any yet. I am sure someone makes it.

Ok, well the best i can figure is that the 26in overall length thing keeps people from having a rifle with a 16 in barrel that is overall shorter that 26in. I guess the round would be right on your cheek,and the trigger would could be half way down the barrel.
