I too have some pretty expensive upgrades to my AR's. Giselle, Timney etc. Quality parts for function is foremost, I was speakng more of appearances.

The way firearms were upgraded in the past was beautiful engraving, upgraded walnut stocks, etc. That was expensive & still is, "upgrading" an AR is pretty cheap. Today many want to out-tacticool each other.LOL We did consider designing a picatinny mounted drink holder for AR's.

Yeah, doesn't make any sense that that would happen with full power loads. Hard to believe there's 35 bullets in the Bbl let alone any full power loads were shot. Full power , something would have failed in a big way. Again, JMHO. Probably reloads.

JMHO Loads weren't charged with any powder, just primer.

The funny thing about this latest outrage (to me at least) is that I picked up in a trade the one & only Benchmade knife I've ever owned before this fiasco happened. Call me Lucky...LOL

They'll do it selectively, make an example of some to scare the rest. I'm sure they'll monitor sites like TGO to see who is selling. (I'll bet they already do.) Another thing to consider is that they'll keep track of the sellers also, do too many transactions in their opinion & said seller/dealer will get a visit from the .g0v.

Well, if it ever got to the senate floor you can bet at least 44 dem's would probably vote for it, after all 44 of them voted to kill babies born alive. I hope a bill like this never reaches a presidents desk. I'm sure I'd prefer President Trump to be there versus hilda, biden or any other dem. JMHO.

I've always found it stupid to hold an inanimate object responsible for anything. It's all about making a statement & making themselves(the gun grabbers) feel good about themselves.

The guns were going to be destroyed regardless of who did it, do I like it, absolutely not. The contributions to the gun grabbing dem's are the thing that bothers me. It would be interesting to see how many of the employees at Benchmade approved of this, probably not many but they probably need their jobs so they do what the boss says. Do some research & see who contributes to the gun grabbers, bet there are some real surprises out there. Some might never be able to go to their favorite grocery store... BTW: The Benchmade knife I have for sale was picked up prior to the outrage.

In addition to the big bore handgun, I'd carry a few slugs or buckshot.
