Dames for Danes This one is in the Knoxville area but they're all over the country. We got our current GSD from a rescue in Kentucky. By all means get a rescue. Google "great dane rescue." for more locations. Sorry to hear of the loss of a family member.

I put steel down over an asphalt shingle roof in Florida about 40 years ago and last time I saw the house the steel was still there. I remodeled another house in FL that included a whole new roof system. I, myself, installed steel on it and it went through the storms of '04 unscathed while many houses in our area wore blue tarps for a long time. I had built a 1500 SF pole barn here in TN in '06 and the roof and skin is steel. Just last summer I installed a 14 x50' addition, again, steel but I did the work myself. My house here is ten years old with a 30 year asphalt shingle roof that still looks good. If and when I ever replace the roof it will be steel but I will not do it. Way too much pitch for my comfort. Laying steel on a flat plane is not a bad job unless the pitch is over about 4-12 I believe my comfort pitch would be. The secret is to measure three or four times and then measure again before you cut as mistakes would be very expensive. The steel supplier will cut the overall length per your instructions so they best be right. The difficulty in laying a steel roof is cutting valleys, irregular angles, etc. There is a difference in steel qualities of roofing. I would want to see several jobs any prospective contractor had done before I would let the job. Better yet, I would like to observe the crew at work. Nothing more pleasing than a standing seam roof on many buildings. Did I mention, I like steel roofs. Walking on a steel roof is no problem unless you weigh a half ton. None of my roofs have ever had any "oil canning" And don't even think about walking or crawling on a wet roof. The pitch on the house shown does not look to be very much and quite a long plane. You might want to get several opinions on the raised groove you'll need.

I have a bolt action Mossberg 183D in 410. It has two screw on chokes, full and modified. It dates to the mid to late '40s. It was my mom's rabbit gun. doubt if any of them are worth much on the open market. Mine is priceless to me. oldogy

The fuel and oil in the boat are stored, contained in separate tanks and the oil is injected as the engine runs. The fuel is your concerns. Check with the dealer as some personal water craft have had tank deterioration problems due to ethanol in the fuel. oldogy

Yep, a hotbox was a real problem, mainly before the timkin roller bearing was put to use by the RR. Ah, yes, no more beautiful mechanical sound than a big steamer breaking traction, the sand coming down and then breaking traction again. Yeah, I am old enough to remember when steam was the power of the day for rail. oldogy

Indiana repeals the 4th amendment?????
oldogy replied to Will Carry's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Cut to the end. Destruction of evidence? What evidence is so important that we are allowing the Constitution of the US to be degraded even more so than it has already been?. All this because someone smelled MJ? Perhaps we need to rethink malum in se vs malum prohibitum and priorities. What is really important! What grows government! just thoughts from the oldogy -
If it has 55 actual hours on the clock, is clean, been garaged, looks like "NIB" I would start at a bit more than half price. Stress the condition in your ad. See what action you get. Kinda like a firearm, looks and condition. You can always take an offer or lower your price if you have no activity. Biggest problem is that it is made by MTD. The old Cub Cadet quality is no more, has not been in many years.

I do not remember any questions on my permit application, or my wife's permit application that would address the subject of assault victim. But, it has been a while. I think we need more information. Perhaps someone ran 'her' mouth off a bit much at the wrong time. oldogy

Oh I feel so much better knowing I can shine the beam of my 2,000,000 CP light down front a couple times most nights to see what wildlife happen to be in........Yeah, the dog and I enjoy walks at night. The deer usually don't get too concern about any of it...They have no reason to be. Oh, I feel so much better now that the law allows me to shine a light around on my own land:D Think the dog and I will take our last walk of the evening. Night all. oldogy

Now that was funny. Brings to mind a joke as told by my lawyer when I was in the process of moving to TN. He asked if I knew why there was no prostitution in TN. I, of course had never given much thought to prostitution or lack thereof in TN so he told me. "They're all volunteers." oldogy Washington needs an enema

Herman Cain WINS in New Hampshire!!!

Really, I thought we were discussing a candidate who was qualified to lead this once great country from the leftward spiral that the current and past administrations and congress have taken her. Someone who actually understands the constitution. Someone who has actually met a payroll. Someone who knows that you can not operate on a deficit for ever. oldogy Washington needs an enema
