  2. At your age you can walk into any gun shop and buy a gun if you can pass the background check at that time. If you are clean it comes back very quickly, five minutes or so. Or you can buy a gun from an individual in TN. Take your HCP class and what you mention to the Drivers License office. They'll take your picture and set up the paperwork for your finger prints. You do not need to own a gun to take the class at many places as they will provide the gun, you supply the ammunition. Keep your gun secure and separate from the ammunition when transporting it. Might want to postpone buying the gun until you decide what you may want to carry. JMO, oldogy
  3. They call it buckshot because you "usta-could" shoot bucks with it. I think some states, some areas mandate buckshot for hunting deer as to avoid the problem of the projectile of a rifle traveling too far. oldogy
  4. Oh, this old man does like the sound and smell of a nice fire in the big fireplace. I have lots of good hardwood for harvest on my place and enjoy splitting the wood by hand. I talked with a couple folks about getting a wood burning insert and both told me that they have sold wood burning inserts and then a few or several years later wind up selling the same folks a gas burning log set....."Folks tend to dislike the work and dirt associated with burning wood after a while." So as long as the DW and I enjoy it and as long as I am able I'll stay with the open, inefficient wood burning fireplace. I can see the conversion to gas years down the pike. Yeah, as suggested to the OP, I would have the chimney inspected and cleaned by a competent chimney person before burning a wood fire therein. oldogy
  5. I go by it frequently on my way to Sunday brunch:) Sometimes I even come back by it if I don't come through the woods on the way home. oldogy

  25. [quote name='clsutton21;. I swapped the tire positions and it did make it pull to the opposite side' date=' but it wasn't near as severe as the way it was originally. [/quote'] Sounds to me like you found your problem. A bad belt will cause this and you can not detect it in the tire with out a tire fault detector and I have not seen one of them in years. oldogy
