  1. the hammers are cocking back, but the firing pins are still stuck in the forward position.
  2. Hey guys, I need your wisdom. I bought this old Stevens 311 double barrel shotgun. I cannot close the barrels when the shells are in there because it seems the firing pins are stuck in the strike position. I've field stripped it and bathed it in ballistol to get as much gunk out of there as possible. If I were to disassemble it further i'd have to take out these two rivets (they don't look like pins). Does anyone have any insight? I've googled the issue but I haven't found anyone with a similar issue.
