i always have either a lcp in my front pocket in a desantis nemesis holster. or glock 27 in a crossbreed supertuck.

my 1200 winchester does this also. Normal function for this gun.

it came along after the ban. that is why it is single stack. it can be converted easily though.

sorry for the thread hijack. thanks ohshoot. now back on topic. i love the springfield xd line. have the 45 compact and it is the best shooting gun i own.its a little big for every day carry though. decided it was time for a subcompact and the xds did not feel right to me in the small package. went with a glock 27. best advice is go to a gun shop look around and hold everything in the store. its all about what fits best in your hand.

Just picked up this glock 27 today in OD. Been looking at going over to the darkside (had xds forever) and finally did it. Check it out! sorry for the picture quality. its from my blackberry.

mine has done this a couple times in the 200ish rounds i have shot. it was stock brand new out of the box. it wasnt locked up but it too a lot of effort to get the slide to come back. both times where with the winchester value packs of birdshot....hasnt done it with and slugs or buckshot of other brands. i chocked it up to the ammo in my situation anyway. hope this helps.

the forearms are different also will not swap between the two.

i love it. most comfortable gun ive ever shot imo.I like the ability to make it service size with the switch of a mag too.i ordered mine off gunbroker and had it shipped in....thats only because i wanted the dark earth. When i was looking for it i called all over and the only place that had in stock (at a resonable price) was gun depot up in johnson city.

Just rode the gap this past weekend...looking at doing the gap/skyway this Saturday. If you like the gap check out 116 out in Petros/Oliver Springs. Twenty minutes or so from Oak Ridge and a fun ride. Similar to the dragon but no traffic. Start at the brushy mountain prison side in Morgan county and go from there...wooo. Just watch for coal trucks during the week:bat:

+100000000:clap: Bought one of these a couple of months ago. XD45 Compact....love it. Fits my hand perfect. Mine is in the "Dark Earth" flavor. I carry it every day in a crossbreed supertuck holster.

when you turn it on does it glow green or red? this will be on the front around the power button. if its red you are all good. call up Microsoft they will give you a rma send you a box and you can send it back for repair. they extended the warranty to something like three years i believe.
