  1. I got real busy and wasn't on here regularly for a few months and then noticed that several members are....uh, missing.
  2. Nice!
  3. Wow... $289 after rebate. Tempting
  4. https://dsgarms.com/jp15lwt35
  5. Something like this? https://www.armsroom.com/tar15-strippedlower-mil-spec I am not familiar with this brand, so I can't speak of the quality. I bet it's as good as any other, though.
  6. I was at the range when she called a couple of times today. I didn't answer, but now I realize I missed a golden opportunity. Next time... ;)
  7. Thanks. I threatened to file a complaint... She hung up... She called back 2 minutes later. I just wasn't sure exactly where to file the complaint, but that's what I'm about to do.
  8. Tried doing the survey. She called back with the same song and dance.
  9. I don't answer the 338... number, but she's relentless. It's not 10 digits either, so I can't block it
  10. This is getting out of hand. The SAME woman has been calling my phone at least 20 times every day. She just called 11 times in the last 15mins. I will answer it sometimes, and sometimes I will ignore it. Her name is Kristy, she claims to be from a NY company called Medi-Biotech, and I think she learned English yesterday. She wants to know if I have chronic pain and if I will do a survey. I told her I had a chronic pain in my rear, and it's name is Kristy... She didn't get it. I talked to her forever this morning just messing with her. I know her by name now. Was funny at first. Now I'm really annoyed. Any suggestions? I have already tried the wasting her time trick. I even let her talk to my wife for a while, and she STILL calls back, lol. It's like Groundhog Day because each time she calls it's like she never talked to me before! Number comes up as 33849943 or Unavailable. Any one else get a call like this?
  11. I have a CVA Optima inline that is accurate enough to 200. It's easy to clean with the hand-removable breach plug and stainless barrel. I got mine at Academy with a KonusPro scope. It looks like they have a new model out this year: http://www.cabelas.com/product/CVA-Optima-V-Muzzleloader-Stainless-Steel-Realtree-XTRA-reg-Green-with-Thumbhole-Stock/1606206.uts . I'm going into year three with no problems. I enjoy using my old-school side percussion rifle with irons if the weather's good. With nasty weather, I'll grab the inline with 209 primer.
  12.    Very nice. I think those two make a very good carry system. Conceal and deep conceal. I'm thinking about retiring my PF9 and picking up a CM9.
  13. I'm getting excited about the season, too! With the way time has been flying by, it'll be here in no time. $13 was a good price for the Thermacell. I was a little skeptical about deer smelling it too, but their behavior seems the same whether I'm using it or not.
  14. I have a Hero2 mounted on my bow. It's a cool perspective when I fire an arrow with an illuminated knock. I figure the next time I miss a deer, I can replay the moment lol. These little cameras are fun. One day I would like to upgrade to a wifi model though.
  15. Been using one for the last three seasons or so. It works great. I notice a slight smell when I first fire it up, but it doesn't bother the deer apparently because they still walk right under me while bow hunting. I was impressed with it, so I bought one for my dad and son.
  16. Exactly why I WILL NOT be carrying an auto knife in my front pocket, lol
  17. That looks great!
  18. Teecro, what length barrel do you have on that ARP? Looks good
  19. Looks cool! You did good I saw a 10.5" Sig with the brace installed at a gun store the other day. I never really had any desire for an AR pistol until I held that thing, but now I want to build one. It seemed to balance really well. I'm thinking about building one as inexpensive as i can go in 300 acc for a truck gun.
  20. If I see something I want on ebay, I'll just watch it until the end. then I'll bid my maximum in the last 3-4 seconds. I don't bid until then because I don't like driving the price higher. Congrats on the bbl... Nice score. Good tip Runco.
  21. The Siberian Husky we had hunted them like a mad man. He would stalk and dig up moles too. Very talented hunter he was
  22.    Well, ya know if she's anything like my wife, it's really her Glock she just hasn't told you yet ;) Yup :) Congrats, BTW. Sweet gun!
  23. I went ahead and got a Boefeng UV5R+. It was $39 free shipping from Amazon and for that price I figured it would at least be a good extra someday (BOB item maybe). I still plan to get that Yaesu 270R soon because of the WX features, but for now the Baofeng will scratch the itch. I started studying and will take the test this month or next. Can't wait to learn more about using and programming this radio. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for", but I will say that I am impressed the UV5R+ for the price so far.
  24. Thanks for the link. This looks like the type of handheld that I was hoping existed. I am going to start studying for the test tomorrow. Eventually, I would like to get a larger mobile unit for my truck, but I'll start out with a handheld.
  25. Good to know that's a decent one. Thanks, I'll have to consider it. I actually have the uv5r saved in my Wish List on Amazon. Just checked, and it's at $44.55 right now with free shipping! It doesn't sound an alarm for severe weather though does it?
