  1. As others have already stated, this is the root of the issue.
  2. Can't wait for it! Got my Martin Firecat fired up and ready.
  3. I guess I'll just have to order that Kahr PM9 or Winchester 70 SS Extreme Weather that I've had my eyes on to test it out ;) That's what I'll tell my wife... "It's just a test" :)
  4. I prefer the gen 2's. They just "feel right" to me. I've been wanting a Glock20 Gen2 recently
  5. Yeah, for real. Maybe dangle that piece of meat from the end of a cain pole too.
  6. Great deal for a quality product
  7. Same here. I had the same exact gross income when I moved from KY to TN, but my net income was like getting a big raise in TN. I like our system here compared to other states I've lived (OH, MD, FL, NC, KY)
  8. I'm fortunate that the new store is not too far from me. I'm in sevierville on occasion anyway. Stinks for you guys living on the other side of the state. Ultimately, the tax will increase the final price, but the plus side is it will make it easier to get the cash price. Whenever I bought from Buds, I always ended up using a credit card because it was easier. I'm assuming they will still offer layaway at the store too
  9. Yep... been there, done that. Removing the nipple, adding a little fresh powder, replacing the nipple and then firing did the trick. Not a pretty ignition by any means.
  10. I think that's the best way to watch them because you can watch 3 or 4 episodes at a time. Watching from week to week always leaves me wanting more at the end of each episode.
  11. I'd like to see them embark on an active campaign to find answers... kind of like when they went to the CDC. They've just been hunkered down and surviving, so it would definitely be nice to see them make some plans for the future.
  12. The airshow is a great idea. Rides in vintage airplanes are always a blast. Another thing I would suggest is to find a local flight instructor/ flight school that can take you and your son on a "Discovery Flight". I still have a Flight Instructor Certificate myself, and I instructed when I was building time for the airlines but haven't flown a small plane in a long time otherwise I could more help. A discovery flight is just an introduction to learning to fly airplanes. It is usually 30min but could be longer if you wish. It would give you and your son an opportunity to not just ride in the back of a small plane but to feel the controls and learn some basics. If your son (or you) ever wanted more, you would have a good resource for the future. The right instructor should not make this flight too technical since your son is young but rather make it a fun and casual flight. I started my first lessons when I was 15 though, so beware the "bug" bites at an early age. Lol You guys will have a good time getting up in the air. You just need to find the right local flight instructor with experience and good personality. Have fun! Here are a couple of links that might point you in the right direction. 13. Looking forward to it! They've been sitting there as canned food all summer, and it's almost time for action.
  14. Thanks for the reminder. Off to the polls tomorrow.... Voting info for Bradley Co. for anyone that needs it http://www.bradleyelections.com/early_voting.htm
  15. I lived in MD back in the '90's. I knew the gun laws were jacked up, but I guess I never really read all of them. They sound even dumber now.
  16. Yeah, after some of these ideas, I sort of wish she would call back now. Somehow I feel certain she will. My guess is someone else is having some fun with her on the phone and she's calling them back 200 times, lol. She only speaks about 10 words of EngRish so it's a long process. If she does, I will report back with the color ;)

  18. How 'bout this.... $1,000 for 2 packs of the Winchester 333!!! I'm hoping that's a typo, but even $100 is overpriced.... Flagged! http://www.armslist.com/posts/3312833/akron-ammo-for-sale---22-ammo
  19. That's pretty cool. I didn't realize GV had that many features. I actually have a GV# already that I use to make/receive calls on my ipad. I can also forward my cell phone calls to my ipad if needed. I'll have to look into those other features more. The good news though is I am now day 2 without that woman calling me :)
  20. Welcome! I have a weakness for lever guns. Nothin' better IMHO. They turn up on here some.
  21. Just one more reason why I know I need an A400 Xtreme Camo!!
  22. I had that happen to me once with my side lock percussion rifle. It was my fault though. I didn't dry the excess oil out of it before I put the powder in, so it got damp. I learned my lesson at the range and not hunting though. Now I always make sure it is toughly dry before I load it up for hunting. An inline can hang-fire too if the powder gets damp from oil.
  23. Ah, thanks. I'll have to call them if they start bothering me again. She actually hasn't called me yet today. I bet she spent the whole day calling two or three other people :)
  24. It's verizon. I called them yesterday. He said they cannot block it because all 10 digits don't show up. He said he could block all "Unavailable" numbers, but I need to receive those from time to time. So far no calls today, so maybe she has moved on, lol. Although, after Photoguys's suggestion, I'm kind of waiting for her to call now, haha
