The thing is, the fiancé is bringing the threat to you. She could shu him away. When you find a job, it will help take you mind off of her.

Larper Starfish DHITP Dependapotamus This thread is educational, lol ETA: Donkey Punch , Haha

I got it yesterday. I'll let you know when I try it out.

Yup. Stop bathing, eat lots of dairy, find another GF and invite her over, stop flushing, develop Tourette's syndrome..... Lots of creative ways to convince an ex-GF to move out

.223 has pretty much replaced 22lr for me. I still have my rifles and ammo for them, but they're in hibernation. Hope it comes back around though

Now, ask yourself (and be honest with yourself)... What do you expect to accomplish with counseling? You say she made a "connection" to a guy on the internet that is stronger than what you have... Is she going to be counseled to be connected differently? She wants you to change yourself and get a job... having a job is important, but is she really going to be counseled into committing to you for better or worse, in sickness or in health, for richer or poorer? You begged her to block a guy that is causing trouble in your relationship, and she won't... Is a counselor going to change her desire for such things? Even if she says she cut the communication, can you trust her when you're not looking? You said you discovered this situation, so that means she was keeping it from you. She won't let you get anything from her Skype and Facebook? Is she going to let you into the bank account once you're married?? What are you really trying to save here? You are all ready going through the hurt now, it will hurt worse to prolong the inevitable. I had a long-term girlfriend when I was much younger. She started valuing her friends more than me. It hurt to go separate ways... until I met my wife. Saying adios to the GF was the best thing I ever did, and thank God I did. Good luck. Oh yeah, some of the things I tell my kids... You can play your games when your work is finished, stay away from Facebook and know when to cut your losses.

I think you're right. I was trying to imagine how it would attach since mine doesn't have a receiver hitch, but the kit comes with a very sturdy receiver attachment. Bolts to the frame and looks like it will work well.

Well, my blower runs but has been running like crap for the last couple of years. I'll check the exhaust pronto on them all. Never thought to check that.

Good call on TSC, Dane. I went by there today, and it was on sale for $329. I brought it home with me, so I'll give a review after I use it. My initial impression is very good. This is a solid piece of equipment. It even came with a receiver to install on my Honda. If it performs as well as it looks, I may not have as much use for my Ford tractor and implements

Does that include TICS at Scott's? Posey's in Cleveland raised theirs to $30 + $10tics. GunWorks in Cleveland also advertises transfers, but I don't know the charge yet. This is interesting: http://howlandhomesteadfarm.com/mouseguns/www.mouseguns.com/gunshops.htm

I haven't been to Carter's in years. I didn't know they allow shotguns on the range. I got my carry permit there about 6.5 years ago. I had a good experience and enjoyed the range. I should stop by there again sometime

I have private land, but I never can bring myself to shoot on it (other than hunting) because I don't want to chase the deer off. I agree about worrying about the other folks, though. Makes me nervous sometimes too

I take that approach in all the beds. I keep telling my wife I'm just gonna get some goats. Either that or nuke all the grass, cut it like I want and then paint it green, lol

The chainsaw is a 20" Solo (running again) :) One weedeater is a "WeedEater" the other is a Homelite :/
-
Well, the 20" Solo chainsaw lives again!!! The jury is still out on the weed eaters... I drained all the fuel from the tank, the bulb and the lines. I removed the spark plug and sprayed some PB Blaster Lawn Mower Tune-up spray in the hole, replaced the plug and gave a gentle pull on the rope. Then I submerged the fuel filter on the end of the tube in a cup of that PB and drew it up through the bulb and into the carb. I sprayed a little more PB into the throat of the carb. I let it sit for 15mins. Added a little fuel, and it cranked right up. The weedeaters are drained and drying out. I'll work on them more tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for the advice and tips. I've learned a lot from this thread, and I'll treat my engines a little different going forward.

Add fight for her, change himself and get a job to the list. Sadly, I'd run

Not many things in life have frustrated me like 2-cycle engines. I have 3 that may experience tannerite very soon! I couldn't get the weedeater started last year, so I got frustrated and bought a new one. It won't start now... not on gas, not on ether starting fluid. Nada. Got a new plug... Nope. Quick cleaning of the carb... Nope, not gonna run. Before I got too fed up, I went to another project requiring the chainsaw. I just got this thing out of the shop last month and put a fresh chain on it. It's been garage kept and serviced. Won't start. Not on gas, not on ether. I cant even use it to cut the weedeaters in half. I have always been diligent about using non-ethanol fuel except the last can was not. Arrrh Sorry about the rant. Does anyone else have my luck with small engines? Any suggestions? The fuel can sat outside... would water in the gas keep it from running even after fresh fuel was added? I guess I'll just stare at the TV for a while this afternoon. I don't dare attempt to start my lawn mower right now.

I hope everything works out for you. I think an important piece of the puzzle includes whether she came to you to tell you that some wacko was stalking her, or whether you found out about her communications some other way. If she reported a problem with some guy bothering her, then I think that is different than if you just discovered their chatting on your own.
-
The exact same thoughts I've been having. I can't decide on bbl length either. I like the look of Barewoolf's 7.5. Decisions, decisions... I'm going with 300 blackout. I don't have one yet. Maybe I'll go with an 8"
-
Nice! Congrats. I like the setup. Are you going to put a Sig Brace on it?
-
Yeah, that's a good point. Probably pretty rough to sit on a plow and drive over rocks or stumps. Ouch! Might be a good time to let the kids drive to 4wheeler. Lol
-
I was just looking at it on their website. It's the same price + tax, but I can walk out of the store with it. It would also be easier to return if I don't like it, so I might go that route. I just don't want to tear the life out of my old 350 Honda.
-
Has anyone used the Groundhog Max ATV plow? I'm thinking about getting one to put in some remote food plots for deer/turkey. I just have an older 350 ATV, so I'm interested if my machine can handle the plow and if it really works. I already have a pull-behind Bushhog mower, so the grass/weeds will be cut. It gets good reviews, and I think it might be the thing I need for the small (0.25 - 1.5 acre) plots. Just curious if anyone here has an opinion. http://youtu.be/4fxCpnlsFS4 $399 http://www.cabelas.com/product/GroundHog-Max-ATV-Disc-Plow-by-Bad-Boy/1641588.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3DATV%2Bdisc%26x%3D-738%26y%3D-52%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=ATV+disc&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products ETA: Oops... didn't mean to put it under the Firearms and Gear forum.

You each buy one and then give it to each other. Then you can say "SoutherLiion/Mcordell gave it to me" ;)
