  1. Me too. Glad they got out quick and didn't get butchered.
  2. I was hoping that he was referring to another gun that might be stashed in the bag or just trying to make the stash more enticing to the cannibals. Otherwise that's a little disappointing if they missed a technicality like that.
  3. That was awesome! I wasn't home to watch it last night, so I just now saw it on AMC's website. They took care of business and appear to be moving on. I'm glad the Python is still in the show :)
  4. Stay safe and dry. I'm still in Dallas, but I see the strong line of WX on radar
  5. I want to get my first suppressor soon for a 300BO pistol that I want to eventuality sbr. I've been dragging my feet but I guess I should make it happen soon. I need to start reading and educating myself on the process and deciding on the can I want for a 8.5" AR
  6. Lol. Sorry about your loss. You might start here http://www.tn.gov/safety/handgun/duplicate.shtml

  9. Seems to be some good info here about current or new cases http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/07/31/world/africa/ebola-virus-outbreak-qa.html?_r=0
  10. Nice pics. I can't wait to get back in the woods.
  11. Used one on my .243 last year for yotes. I had the 870 in my hands for close work, and the 243 was at the ready on the bipod. Convienient way of keeping it out of the dirt more than anything

    Kahr PM9

Now, try :)   I love my G19 and my Kahr, but if I gotta hide it in the summer with no chance of printing the G19 is a no-go

I built one that had a 4"x3' chamber for compressed air. It made a 180* turn with the 1.5" diameter barrel on top. It was mounted on a tripod, and I used an automatic sprinkler valve wired to a switch for the trigger. Worked well
  14. Creeps me out looking at it :panic:
  15. Well, I'm out here in Dallas of all places for work. Steering clear of any stray body fluids!!
  16. This one's a few years old. I was looking for horns, so mama only got shot with the camera. She never knew what danger was lurking above her.
  17. Scenes from my duck blind last year Wind was really blowin' the dekes around Bunch of birds flying in that Arkansas sky
  18. I was bored Saturday afternoon, so I snapped some pics of my bow while I was in the stand, lol. (I'm much higher than it looks) I have a GoPro mounted on it, but haven't got to record any shots on animals yet
  19. One more week!
  20. Sounds like it could be the start of a great thing. I hope it works out and you score a sweet place to hunt!
  21. Wow, that's awesome. Sounds like a great opportunity. The biggest deer that my dad and I have shot over the years have been the result of being invited to hunt property that we didn't know anything about, scouting it with topo maps, picking a natural funnel and walking in with a climber. Undisturbed land is a good opportunity. Do you know what size tract? Might be hot when the rut kicks in!
  22. Haha, that's funny. Other animals can be so entertaining when we enter their world.
  23. Maybe he saw his shadow, lol. I'm sure he'll be back. I haven't seen the one at my hunting spot since that first day. There is a red fox that I would see in past seasons and have seen him on trail cams recently, but I haven't seen him in the flesh this season yet. The other critters of the woods are definitely entertaining and help to pass the time. Last year (late season) I was rifle hunting high on top of an isolated ridge. It was steep, so I just nestled into the base of a windfall tree and was sitting on the ground. After a long day of sitting, a family of raccoons walked straight up the hill towards me. One of the babies got so close to my foot, I couldn't resist stretching my leg to try and touch it. You can only imagine how bad they all freaked when they made me. Absolutely hilarious. I almost laughed out loud in the woods. It made my day, lol.
  24. I really like my hard chrome PF9. It shoots straight. It bites my hand less since I took some fine grit sandpaper to the edges of the grip and trigger guard. It carries very well in an IWB holster that is actually marketed for a compact 1911. It disappears with an untucked t-shirt. It developed an issue of dropping the mag after several hundred rounds of 147gn. I contacted keltec, and they sent replacement mag release and spring to me ASAP... hasn't done it since. Never had any feeding issues. I also have a P3AT. It looks like a small wallet if carried a in pocket holster in my back pocket. I had feeding problems with it since day one. I did the "fluff and buff", tried different ammo, and got new mags. It is a lot more reliable, but I still don't trust it 100%. I need to shoot it more to gain more confidence in it.
