  1. Wow, they are pricey. Rossi makes a less expensive one around $500ish http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/56502/Rossi+357+Magnum+Lever+Action+w16%22+Round+Blue+BarrelWalnut http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/56487/Rossi+357+Mag+Lever+Action+w24%22+Octagon+Blue+BarrelWalnut
  2. I'm pretty sure that's the ship from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea...
  3. Sorry, I don't give up. It's certainly an uphill battle, but give up? Naw
  4. I wouldn't give up any property. If he's moving, then I guess you don't have to worry about neighborly relations. I'd have the surveyor mark it as Raoul said, and then form a plan to move the fence to the correct side of the tree. What kind of fence... wood, chain link? I'd take care of it with this owner so you don't have issues with new neighbors
  5. I don't really have one I can recommend, but I'm happy we're talking about turkey season!! Congrats on the M2
  6. I just ordered it from Cabelas! I think it will be great for 3gun, coyotes in the woods or anything else :) Cabelas has it regular price, but they're offering free shipping and $50 Cabelas Bucks towards next purchase. Can't wait to post pics of it...
  7. Someone at the range once let me shoot his High Point carbine 40. I wouldn't feel bad owning one for the price.
  8. Got about 7" in north Bradley county. We built giant snow zombies :) that's an 8-footer on the right Freaked out the hound dog, lol
  9. I know you said "cheap rifle", but since you say you're looking for your second gun, I take it you don't have a shotgun.? That seems to fit much of your criteria as well. Just a thought
  10. I saw thIs and thought it was hilarious. Hope it hasn't already been posted. Cats... lol http://youtu.be/5sy1MDHZ27M
  11. Here's the savage 110 I got for cheap. I plan to eventually transform it into a long-range machine, but it's a fine rifle as-is for the price. As Dolomite said, upgrades are numerous.
  12. Thanks. That's good that Vortex holds up so well. I was impressed with the quality of the PST last time I held one at my LGS. I've had a Sparc on my AR for a couple years with no issues. I
  13. Savage Axis, Remington 770, Mossberg ATR100 are a few. I recently bought a Savage 110 30-06 with scope for $260 in like new condition. How cheap?
  14. I'm thinking about getting a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 TMCQ MOA scope ( http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-viper-pst-1-4x24-riflescope-with-tmcq-moa-reticle )for my AR. I will use it for 3gun and coyote hunting. Has anyone had any issues with this scope? I'm a little confused though... There appears to be two models of the same one. I have seen it with a rubber magnification ring and a metal magnification ring. Is one a newer version? I will order it from Cabelas since I have store credit there, but their website shows a pic with the rubber ring. Vortex's site shows it with a metal one. If the ring is the only difference, then I'm fine with it. I just don't want to pay new price for an older model or something. Rubber ring Metal ring
  15. If I ever do an 80% lower, it will be so that I can have an excuse to get a mill ;) Even this cheapie from harbor freight should work I'd think http://t.harborfreight.com/two-speed-variable-bench-mill-drill-machine-44991.html Good luck. If you go slow, I'm sure it will turn out nice
  16. Wow, good deal
  17. Seems like their leader calls them "training camps" http://youtu.be/Q_iZY28WkD8
  18. I have one, and it works ok. It annoys me under my arm a little bit though. I usually use a belly band if I need ultra-concealed. Undertech makes shorts too that works like a belly band without the band
  19. This article from 2009 references the camp in Dover http://www.t-g.com/story/1502537.html Edit: Wow, google is turning up a lot of reports about all three camps.
  20. It was FREEZING COLD here this morning, then it warmed up and rained, now it's dropping below freezing again. Weird, but it always does that. Everyone around us gets it... kids are mad, lol
  21. I have bought this before. It's not the cheapest on amazon but appears to be the real deal. Although, it was quite a bit cheaper when I bought it http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D9DJQ8C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  22. Getting 'spensive at Cabelas, too. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Federal-American-Eagle-556-NATO-Rifle-Ammo-with-Dry-Storage-Box/1322757.uts?avad=48247_a811ffce&WT.mc_id=al35987&rid=12&WT.tsrc=AFF
  23. It started to finally ice up here, and then it warmed up to 34* all day :( Nothin' but cold rain. Forecast says as soon as it stops raining, the bottom will fall out of the temp. That's what it does here... Cold, warms up to rain, cold again when the precip stops. Oh, well
