  1. Haha. Yeah, I like to keep 'em close so I don't have to run such a long extension cord for the power :) I use nautical miles at work so much it's become habit.
  2. My house is inside 15nm of Sequoyha, so a Geiger counter might be handy for me when the zeds start marching. Reminds me... I read an interesting article earlier today that animals are really starting to thrive again at Chernobyl. They're probably twice as big and glow, but staying alive. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/animals-return-to-chernobyl/
  3. That looks really nice! Congrats!!!
  4. Depends on what the definition of ...Transparent ... is We're dealing with a Clinton here :shake:
  5. That's good because I would hate to have to leave my ideal bug-in location for that reason.
  6. I guess it's been rescheduled again
  7. My biggest concern is that I live within 12-15 miles east of Sequoyah nuke plant! I have a great place to bug in, but that doesn't matter if the nuke plant melts down. How vulnerable are the nuke plants (sequoya and watts bar in particular) to a power grid disruption?
  8. I just got caught up by watching the last two episodes. Now that was some hoard that Daniel led to the detention center/hospital! Pretty nasty crowd. That was also pretty hard core how Travis put Liza down before she was even sick. As far as I can remember, Rick's group always cared for their family members until death (or severly wounded and suffering) then did the deed. What Travis did seems like real murder unless we are to assume she got sick from the bite off camera.
  9. I bought a CPO 325i from them a few years ago. Car had some issues when I got it home. It had to go back, and I was without it for a week while it was in the shop. I was pretty irritated at the time, but it was fixed. I've had other experiences there that were good, so I'm neutral I guess. This was probably 6 years ago, so it's not exactly current info. They were about like any other dealer. Their used prices seem to be on the high side to me. The service dept is priced like any other BMW service ($$$$). Nice folks, though. I wouldn't hesitate to buy there again IF I found the right deal, but do your homework on that.
  10. I haven't seen any hogs (or evidence) on my land in Bradley Co yet. I have seen them on nearby WMA land, though. Just a matter of time probably
  11. I ordered a couple of these a few months ago. Mine were about $5 but came with a handlebar mount. Great light for the price. I keep them in my vehicles as a backup
  12. I have several Fenix lights in various sizes. They've all been fantastic.
  13. I've been curious about the success/failure of TWRA's new plan for regulating wild hogs. So they say it's working? Nice hog, BTW!
  14. That's some good info. I need to start catching rain water. We have a natural spring on the property, some stored drinking water and two 55gal water heaters in the house. I feel comfortable with our water, but there's no reason for me not to have a catch system in place as well.
  15. Is it US made? I can't find it in the description
  16. Looks like the exterior is bare metal in the picture. What method do use to finish it to match?
  17. I know someone that uses a rock tumbler from Harbor Freight and the SS pins sold on ebay. Very cheap setup and works great. I plan to give it a try someday.
  18. I am getting ready to purchase the barrel from Atlantic Firearms. Is this one good for my kit? http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-accessories/nitride-ak47-7-62x39mm-barrel-detail.html?Itemid=0 I don't anywhere on their site stating that it's Made in USA though Here's the kit I have: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/909439/military-surplus-ak-47-polish-under-folding-stock-parts-kit-762x39mm
  19. She's trying to appeal to her base. She doesn't tell the truth about stuff though, so her words are all meaningless. I'm sure she would go full throttle towards gun control if given the chance. That's what liberals like her do. I'm still trying to figure out why she is not running her campaign from behind bars. It's amazing to me that she is not only a player but the front runner. Crazy
  20. Sorry about the loss of your dad. I couldn't sell the guns. They are very nice even without the history, but I'd treasure them for the sentimental value. I'd find something else to sell, or save or utilize layaway to get the new gun. I always like to grow a collection :)
  21. That's an awesome find! I've had an itch to go antelope hunting up there. That has to be a great time.
  22. My wife has a 43. I really like shooting it. Nice gun! Cool pic!
  23. Definately has his mind in the gutter :) http://youtu.be/XwslLBfFvJM
