  1. I'll give it a try
  2. That's pretty good idea. The glue doesn't glue the mold together?
  3. We each have our "play money" that we get from each check. I invest mine in lead, polymer and steel :) A good excuse is... "It was on sale"; "obama may ban it soon, and it's value will quadruple"; "It was a good investment"; "That? I've had that for a while"; "Honey, are those ANOTHER pair of new shoes?"
  4. I hear thier quiet... :) http://youtu.be/h27qVNUvaNk
  5. Yep, and PSA has them now for $199
  6. I just had a similar sound repaired on my dodge ram hemi. There were a couple of bolts broken on the exhaust manifold. It would tick on colder morning start ups then go away as it warmed up.
  7. Thanks. I thought they may just be overloaded. I ordered 9mm and 223. It looks like good stuff and was happy to take advantage of the free shipping
  8. Not a full blown panic but more of a pre-panic with the election coming up and all the liberal anti-gun lies following these shootings.
  9. Does Xtremebullets take a while to ship? I placed my first order with them early last week, and it's still "processing". I'm really looking forward to this delivery, but the UPS driver will hate me :)
  10. I hope it works out for you guys and you have a great hunt!
  11. I got my son (12) a 20ga. It's semi auto, so the recoil feels less. I typically have him load just one though. Beretta A303 I saw a sweet youth model 28ga at the pawn shop recently. I think it was a browning semi. My first gun was a Charles Daily O/U youth 20ga when I was 8. I always enjoyed shooting it. Edit: Rossi makes a 410 lever gun
  12. An apprentice license might help. https://www.tn.gov/twra/article/twra-apprentice-permit-hunter-education-exempt-type-012
  13. An apprentice license might help. https://www.tn.gov/twra/article/twra-apprentice-permit-hunter-education-exempt-type-012 The drawback is the requirement for him to be accompanied by someone that meets the safety requirements, but it might work depending on your plans
  14. Yes good point. I need to get on it. Lol
  15. Whoa bersaguy!! Excellent choices :)
  16. I think I'll be voting Rubio as well. Right now all that matters is beating the dem. I think I'd rather vote Cruz, but Rubio probably has a better shot.
  17. Christie is just desperate to gain points ahead of the primaries. He'll always be my last choice on the GOP side.
  18. I agree on one hand, but on the other they may see an opportunity. They don't really care about how many guns are out there in the short term. They just want to pass legislation. They might secretly WANT more guns out there in hopes that they can point a finger at the GOP house/senate that passed the legislation to make the 1911s available. They might be hopeful that allowing these 1911s to "hit the streets" will lead to the next crisis of opportunity
  19. Haha... Reminds me of a time I was driving through Lexington and lost the alternator at dusk (of course). I nursed it to the nearest exit and found an auto zone. I changed the alternator in the parking lot and one of the employees helped and loaned me tools.
  20. That's exactly what I found lacking... test them side by side. I didnt expect it to fail right away with the mud puddle though. I like the VP9. I have a USPc and really like it too.
  21. Wow, I didn't expect it to fail so easily.
  22. Check out the pictures at the link JohnC posted in #327. Towards the bottom, they show pic of one attacker laying in a pool of blood next to a mailbox. In another pic they show an attacker (maybe the woman) laying in the street next to the SUV, and the caption read, "Local news footage on Wednesday evening showed one of the dead attackers outside the shot-out SUV. The suspect was killed in a police chase while still inside the vehicle, then moved on the street." Lots of pics in that link
  23. So you're saying we deserve the jihad? Just trying to understand your point....
