I just watched it, and I also just caught up on the thread. I never read ahead because I don't want to spoil it, but in this case I would have known to just skip to the end. Finale sucked. I think maggie or glenn would have screamed if it was one of them. We know it's not Rick or Carl. That leaves Abraham, Sasha, Michone, Eugene, Dayrl or Aaron (who did I miss?). I think Rick might have cried out if it was Michone, but maybe he couldn't SEE himself eating Carl's eye so he kept quiet  I think it's Eugene or Aaron. The group in the RV all said their goodbys to Eugene before they left on foot, and Rick shot him a look like he thought Eugene talked and betrayed them. Eugene has also been striving to prove that he is tougher than everyone thought, and whoever took the bat was "taking it like a champ." Plus Rick has the plans to carry out Eugene's contribution in reloading. Aaron is not as prominent in the group, so I think he's an easy choice without loosing the core group. I'll be waiting next season for Morgan and busted up Carol to swoop in and save the day again. Maybe with the help of the horsemen.

LOL. Is that what trump has?

I have a Stoeger M3000 that I bought for 3gun. I had a rough time with patterns and recoil when I first got it. Felt like it kicked me right in the face every time, lol. I shortened the stock, added a Kickezze recoil pad and changed the included shims to adjust the stock. It was like shooting a totally different gun after I did that. Patterns are spot on, and the recoil is multiple times better. You haven't had the stock off have you? Maybe the stock has changed as some others have said. I wouldn't have believed the difference it can make if I hadn't experienced it for myself.

My solution... If I'm not happy with the color match, then I guess I'll just have to buy another stripped lower until I get a good match. I've actually learned this from my wife. If her shoes are not the right shade, then what's a girl to do? Likewise, if my lower/upper are not the right shade of black, then I gotta do what I gotta do ;) She has her own AR, so don't tell her I said that :nervous:

We need to get her on the show!

I think we had this question with Lori, but what happens if Maggie's unborn baby dies before birth? I wonder if it is infected, too. She was having pains at the end of the episode. Talk about something eatin' you up on the inside. Yikes! ETA: I guess she's not that far along in the last episode, and babies aren't born with teeth, so maye not an issue

Sportsmans license price hike...

I found myself unarmed and in the middle of a herd a few years ago. They came out of the woods and across the trail where I was. I just stood still and they didn't seem to notice me. As soon as I developed an interest to hunt them, TWRA squashed the idea. Just curious how this is working out? So far success/failure/too soon to know?

It sounds like I'm in the minority, but I've had horrible luck with Michelin on several different vehicles with tread life and traction. They were smooth and quiet but didn't hold up. On my Ram and Yukon I like Nitto Terras, Goodyear Wrangler or BFG.

I keep an eye open for a 65 or another 13 every time I walk in the pawn shop.

 That's very tempting. I may have to get one to put in line behind my AK build

De-Prime before or after tumbling
Wingshooter replied to MemHeli's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I tumble in dry media then deprime/resize. It saves a step for me, and I prefer to run clean brass through my dies. -
Single recoil spring on gen3. The grip on the gen3 feels larger to me than the gen4. Even the SF has more pronounced finger grooves than the gen4 IMO if that matters to you.

I have the kit, barrel, and receiver and have ordered the trigger, barrel pin, rivet set, appropriate 922r parts and some magazines. Hopefully I can start putting some pieces together soon. With the help of TGO, the AK forum and YouTube, I hope to get most of the pieces in the right spot :)

Sweet! That looks great  My 3" model 13 is one of my favorite guns. Love the K frames

I'm looking forward to it! I was sitting in my tree stand on the last day of deer season when the flock walked under me. I've been jones'n for it since then :) I have a new Double Bull blind to try out too. My youngest daughter (8) has taken a huge interest in it, so I'm hoping for a fun season.

Man blows off leg shooting Tannerite rifle targets
Wingshooter replied to Pete123's topic in General Chat
I used some to help bring down a dangerouse dead tree once. I was WAY farther and probably used less. No way I would get that close to it. I wonder if it was the first time that guy had used the stuff. -
There are 3 guns that I always enjoy seeing in the episodes... Rick's Colt of course, Sasha's supressed AR and Abraham's M16. It has me wanting to build an old school A2 :)

I just watched it. The doc was just starting to become a stronger player. Did she have a connection to the baby? I know Dennis was her twin brother, but what about the baby... younger sibling or unspecified? Daryl got his bike back and now the crossbow! I think we'll see some war next episode. I wonder if Carol will come back again to save the day Did Eugene go nuts or what?

Sounds good. I'm looking forward to getting started on it. Tapco good enough for the trigger?

I was thinking about how to keep everything tight while the first 1 or 2 rivets are set. Could you assemble with non-locking nuts and bolts (equal diameter as rivets) then replace with rivets one at a time? Or am I trying to make it too complicated, lol

I finally have the receiver for this project waiting for me to pick it up at the FFL. I have been checking the web since October and bought the first one that was back in stock... a Childers from Atlantic. I guess I need a US made trigger and a rivet set now. I have access to a 20 ton shop press. The Toth tool looks interesting, but has anyone used an air hammer to set the rivets? I believe that's how they do it on airplanes
