  1. There are still a few public WMA lands in East TN that allow hog hunting during the deer and/or bear season. The regs are tough to figure out in TN, so it's good that you're asking the questions.
  2. Maybe it's possible you handled a gen4 when you first looked at them in Gander but bought a gen3 and that's why it feels different to you???? Just a thought...
  3. Every few months my dog will trap one under the back deck. We'll wake to his barking and then the smell hits. It's right behind our bedroom, so it makes my eyes water it's so bad. Hasn't happened in a while, so I guess we're due for it...
  4. I like it! I'll make signs. #unlimiteddatamatters
  5. So if I want to sneak a Form 1 in for an SBR before 41F should I E-File or paper file with the postmark date? Do you get a confirmation on the date when you E-File?
  6. Hey, I'll protest Verizon. They tricked me out of my unlimited data plan!
  7. Did you get a gen3 or gen4? For me, the gen4 with no backstrap feels way better than the 3. The gen2 is my favorite, but you'd have to look for a used one to get that awesomeness
  8. This. When I got my 250 Stihl there were two versions... the old-school model and the new CA compliant EPA model. Of course I went with the evil, non-CA one I fought with my other chainsaws for years while my grandfather''s vintage Stihl ran like a top, so I finally broke down this spring and bought my own Stihl.
  9. Anderson is good. I've never been disappointed with their products.
  10. I always build my own so I get exactly what I want. It's extremely satisfying to get a sub-moa rifle from parts that you assembled yourself. Plus, you know how to work on it later down the road if necessary. I usually order most parts online and buy the stripped lower receiver at my LGS. I used this video series to help walk me through my first build. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=11004/guntechdetail/how_to_build_an_ar-15_video You asked for some other links... joeboboutfitters.com dsgarms.com brownells.com midwayusa.com skdtac.com bravocompanyusa.com there are many others, but those a few that come to mind. This is fun too... http://www.ar15builder.com
  11. Nice! I wonder what the 1Q of 2016 looks like, lol.
  12. Yeah... great shop! Are yours there?
  13. Sounds good. I have a Surge and Spectre II in jail.
  14. I just have a standard pistol tube. I think I'll order the brace for my 300bo. I've just been using it with a foam pad on there. I'll give this a try. Looks like it will funtion well, and I like the look. Price is good too.
  15. I was about to start a Shockwave brace thread, but seach turned up this great looking pistol. Looks nice! I was thinking about getting a Shockwave brace. It seems legit with the ATF letter and all just like the Sig brace. Does the brace just attach to any pistol buffer tube?
  16. My Keltec P3AT gave me fits when I first got it. I did the "fluff and buff" twice. It finally became more reliable. I still have it, but it gets carried as a last resort. I also have an RG25 that I will never fire again
  17. Welcome!
  18. Even if it's wrong info, maybe the rumor will circulate as truth to businesses Maybe just print that article and leave it laying in your favorite business that posts. Use a play from the liberal playbook against them...
  19. I keep waiting for total industries to cut off CA. Whether it's a car engine or an AR15, I wouldn't pour money into R&D just to keep up with their excessively restrictive laws.
  20. Probably the same someone(s) that also needs to be punished for the Bengazi crap.
  21. Both good ideas. I'll check them out
  22. I understand that. A silencer is pretty low on my lists of needs right now but high on the list of wants. You never know... waiting might pay off if that Safe Hearing Act bill gets any traction.
  23. That's an interesting thought. So there is no requirement to have newly added trustees do that stuff after 7/13 as long as they are not on the trust when the application is filed? Seems like a major loophole, but I like it
