  1. Oh man, that stinks!. Throw'n down is definitely better than throw'n up though.

  5. Look at the Q and A on the listing. Lol. Says we can't afford her
  6. I was trying remember starting the thread, lol.
  7. I've been orderring a lot of stuff from Cabelas lately since I have some Club points saved up, and they had a free shipping deal going on.
  8. But that's when all the posts were, and I missed it.
  9. How did I lose track of my own thread and miss so many interesting relpies? Lol.
  10. I love my G20. I carry it when I'm on the farm cutting wood, trails, or whatever. I also carry it when I'm hunting, camping or in the woods. It's just about as big a gun as I'd ever want to carry often as a sidearm. Any bigger, and I'd probably just carry the 44. Anything bigger than the G20 would be in my way most of the time honestly. Although the Glock40 is a very cool gun.
  11. A Marlin 1895 Guide gun 45-70. I'd post a pic, but I don't have it here because I gave it to my dad as a gift. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/41185/Marlin+1895+G+.45-70+Guide+Gun+18.5"+Walnut+45 Before that it was 5 boxes of Underwood 10mm 200gn https://www.underwoodammo.com/10mm-auto-200-grain-hard-cast-flat-nose/
  12. After looking at the actual dimensions, it's not much bigger... 0.11" in the grip length and 0.01" in overall length. Original LCP: 3.60" tall, 5.16" OAL LCP II: 3.71" tall, 5.17" OAL
  13. Now just chamber this in 9mm, and we'll have a winner. If I'm going .380, I want it to be as small as possible (i.e, the original LCP).
  14. Hmm. I'm not sure I've ever really paid much attention to the details of a camo pattern, so I probably never would have caught it. I doubt the deer will notice
  15. I didn't realize that, the pelicans either. Good pics, too.
  16. I downloaded it last year but haven't really used it that much yet. It looks like a sweet app. I need to put it to use this season.
  17. It wasn't working for me either before, but it's fixed now for me. I use the default theme.
  18. Welcome!
  19. That's why God gave us the Glock20
  20. Wierd... I just saw the BassPro billboard on my way to work this morning and thought about this topic. I figured it wasn't going to happen, but I signed on with the intentions of finding the old thread about it and asking f anyone had any updates. Wierd. I'm disappointed. I like both stores, but Cabelas just has more of an out-West outfitter store. I have the Cabelas credit card that I use for business purposes. I'm bummed
  21. Here's a video demonstrating how to get back into the stand. It doesn't really address getting all the way down if you need to though. In that case I'd say the Downsafe product you mentioned or a lineman's belt or @Omega's suggestion if you already have a lifeline rope to the ground.
  22. Get a safety vest/harness that can use a lineman's belt and keep it with you. With a little practice you can go up or down a tree with a lineman's belt.
  23. If that's the case then I'd say they got off easy.
  24. I don't have a problem with baiting from an ethical standpoint. I think it's smart if you were really needing the food and trying to maximize your effort. I mean who wouldn't hunt near an apple tree? Ethically speaking, does the deer know if the apples fell from a tree or were placed on the ground by a hunter? However, baiting is illegal, and I have no tollerance for hunters that break the rules. Book 'em
  25. If you can't get them up there, I'll sub in! Awesome caribou. Congrats! I need to do an Alaska hunt one of these years.
