I wouldn’t say he’s heads and shoulders above Obama. About even

It’s amazing the animals that sunflowers attract. I’m thinking about planting a large area of sunflowers for deer to eat. I’ve never tried it before, but I know they love them

Finally got the garden tilled. Beautiful day today

For a range gun, 3gun, plinking or even home defense that doesn't break the bank, the Sig Romeo5 is hard to beat. It’s just a simple red dot that comes on when you pick it up. I also have and really like the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24. Gives you a 1 power red dot or up to 4x magnification. Great optic for an AR

That’s great info. Thanks! I have noticed that my other knee and shoulder have been hurting lately from favoring them to move around. I also pulled a muscle in my back from limping. That was when my knee hurt more. Knee feels much better now, but I am concerned if I put surgery off then I will reinjure it while in the woods or doing some other activity in the future. I just want to get back to normal ops. I have a backpack elk hunt planned this fall. It sounds like with the surgery I should be able to hike and backpack... ETA: Did they trim away your meniscus or stitch it? They would need to trim mine. I hate to “lose” body pieces lol

I’m on the fence about the surgery. It feels almost normal now (slight pain with stairs, slightly swollen and a little stiff). Doc says I have a flap that is flipped up and can cause wear and tear on the joint. I’m not a fan of surgery unless absolutely necessary tho
-
I also think i tore it a few years ago, and it’s just now causing a bigger problem. Good to know you got right back to life and no pain. Thanks

Do we have Mole Crickets in TN? I’ve seen those things come out of the ground around plants in FL before I think they feed on plant roots, earthworms, etc. They creep me out. Even google images of those things are hard to look at. https://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/lawn-and-garden/mole-crickets/

Thanks. That’s good to know. I am hopeful that I will be able to use it back to full strength after it’s fixed. They will have to cut the torn flap off, so I don’t know how much meniscus I’ll lose.

The 29 has become one of my favorite guns to carry. I like the pinky extension on the mags and Ameriglo Spartan night sights.

Well I have a torn meniscus in my knee Doc says I need surgery. Parrot beak, posterior horn. Anyone else have this surgery (or recommend otherwise)? Knee feels a lot better now, but still not quite 100%. I can walk around much better now, but I have been mostly off my feet and ice pack for over a month. I really didn’t have a lot of pain. Had a lot of swelling and stiffness with a pulling sensation. It’s tolerable, but I don’t want to have it keep me from doing things I like to do either. This will be my first surgery or procedure. Bad timing too because I was supposed to be leaving this weekend for a 10 day backpacking spot-and-stalk bear hunt in Idaho

I love the 29. I have that and a 20. I have shot a lot of Underwood 200g hard cast through both of them. No leading issues yet. I find the 29 very easy to carry. congrats on the purchase

I do not like The HD Voice or voLTE option. I always turn it off because it makes it harder to hear imo. Anyone else? I hope that doesn’t mean i have to turn it on now. Sheezh Also, I hope this doesn’t kill my Cuddielink trail camera system . I need to check it’s G-rating I guess. That would not be good

There are more choices than I thought https://www.tn.gov/revenue/title-and-registration/license-plates/available-license-plates.html

Sweet! I'm going bear!
-
Sorry your dealing with it too. It sucks. Are you leaning towards a particular vax or dump the employer?
-
Thanks, that’s my thoughts also. I’m just now digging deeper into research about it. I do know someone that developed blood clots soon after getting it, so I have been taking a slow approach to it. I just don’t like being forced to get it or lose my good job It should be my choice. However, I feel the biden admin will continue to mandate it in other areas of life besides my job
-
That’s good to know since my wife also has an auto immune thing. She hasn’t taken the jab either. Did you or your SO have any adverse reactions to it? I just don’t like the idea of the mRNA and have always leaned towards j&j if I decided to get one at all. There was some earlier talk about graphene oxide in the J&J. Has that been proved wrong or is that really a thang?
-
Are they still going to offer the special wildlife plates with the bear, turkey or deer? I hope so. I’ll spend a little extra for the bear
-
Not my choice, but I didn’t really care for any of the choices

Good info about the 29. The 20 has too much grip length and barrel for me to sit normally in a vehicle or conceal it. I feel like I’m trying to hide a fire extinguisher under my shirt lol. In the woods or on the trail, I like the full size. Good to hear that you rank the 29 up there with the 19 because I think very highly of the 19 as well. I read somewhere that the 29 carries like a heavier 19. Do you find that to be the case also? What holster do you carry it in? I need to go put my hands one one. I just have to be prepared for it to follow me home if I do lol
-
Sounds like we have similar issues with the 20. I love it but I almost have to sit sidewise when I jump in the ranger, tractor or truck lol. When I get on the horse, I almost feel obligated to strap on the single action 45LC though. I will check out the XDs in 45. That a good suggestion. Thanks

I’ve never flown a helicopter, but I do love the hueys. Very cool!

Well my employer just adopted joe’s mandate. Guess I’m going to have to start shopping vaxes now. I have been holding off as long as I could to see what happens to the test subjects first . Now I’ll be one as well since I’m not in a position to lose my career. I have been leaning J&J, but if it’s 100% less government then I’m definitely sold!! My doc recommended Moderna simply because of the higher “protection” percentage. I just want the one that’s least likely to jack me up. I do know a few people that have serious side effect from the shot. What made you choose J&J ? I like that it’s not mRNA and only a single shot (I try to avoid needles in general ). Anything else to consider when choosing one of the 3? Can’t believe I’m being forced to get this in America....
