Hmmm. VP9 long slide.
-
My favorite(s)... 3" S&W model 13-3 and 7.5" SBH 44mag (it's a tie) my go-to... G43 for EDC and concealed carry, G20 if I'm on the farm or any other time concealed is not a factor. The G20 is becoming one of my favorite and most used guns though
-
Wow @DaveTN that really stinks. I'm not sure what else you could do that you haven't already done. Maybe write another letter but such a hastle. I'll definitely take your review into consideration. So... how about the VP9? LOL The M&P I have been looking at is SKU 178010. It sounds like if I do go with an M&P, I'm at least looking at an Apex tregger.
-
would it be too much to just let negan walk into a trap? Sheez, these people are working too hard, lol.
-
@Grand Torino nice looking gun! Are the Apex parts a DIY drop-in, or do they need fitting by a gunsmith? Does it shoot well with most ammo?
-
I'm going to get a new pistol for 3gun and general range fun, and I like the way the 5" M&P 9 Pro feels in the hand. I've read some conflicting reports about the accuracy of the older ones. How are they now? I'd be interested in opinions comparing it to the VP9 and full size P320 also because I'm considering them as well. I have plenty of Glocks and love them all, but I just want something different this time.
-
I don't mind the Kahr trigger, but I also wanted something more consistent with what I was used to, so my edc is a g43. I have been considering a P320 lately. Good to hear some of ya'll like it.

Shotgun with bird shot? Honestly, it seems like some simple, well-placed and well-planned radio interference might though these amateur quadcopters off balance easier than anything
-
Yep, and I'd save the savior's small group leader for last... a tiger needs a snack every now and then I keep hoping that's how Negan will go. I'm glad Morgan and Carol are back though. The next few episodes should be the setup for a war. The season finale will probably be the cliff-hanger that kicks it off with season 8 being the Savior vs. Alexandria/Kingdom/Hilltop War.

All good info. Thanks. I got a quote today for the materials alone at $1300. I'm still waiting to get some quotes on labor to come in.
-
We got just enough to look similar to a heavy frost on the roof tops for a couple hours. Maybe winter has made it's last stand... ready for spring!
-
Thanks Eray! That's exactly what I was needing.

I am going to build a pole barn soon, and I want a concrete slab. I will call around Monday and get some price quotes, but I just want to see if anyone has an idea of what I can expect to pay per sqft. I've priced everything out except the slab, and now I'm a little impatient to know how much the concrete will cost, lol. It will be in Bradley County and the size is 24'x40'. Any ballpark ideas? Thanks

With the way the weather has been forcasted around here lately, I'm expecting anything except what they say
-
I also have the "saving" (well... hoarding also according to my wife) gene. You never know when you might need stuff, lol. Scrounging is prob the most beneficial skill in the zombie apocalypse. That's right... I forgot about those commercials
-
that's the "wing" in "wingshooter" That would be my group skill I guess, lol. Would stink if someone died and turned at 40,000' in an airplane though
-
I'd be on my way to Andrews to get AirforceOne or maybe an F16
-
I'd like to see them make it to DC and find the real reason behind the outbreak (biological warfare, etc.). I enjoyed the downtown Atlanta episodes, and DC wouldd be a nice change from Alexandria I think. Real civilization is too far gone at this point unless they are starting over.
-
I agree... simply dropping a pill in Negan's glass is too dull a death for him. There will have to be more. Lowering him slowly into a vat of walker heads of something, but I figure the writers will have Maggie or Rick do the deed. Or maybe he'll get eaten by that tiger!
-
I think the show needs some hope. Maybe the sight of a military chopper flying or a broadcast on a radio to get the group moving towards DC again. They need to defeat Negan and take up their quest again to find answers. They could stretch a few more seasons by doing that I think. I think that would be a rewarding way to eventually wrap the series up with the re-birth of civilization. I understand Rosita's and Sasha's frustration, but they are on a death wish unless they play it smart. I still don't get it why someone doesn't stuff Negan's suppy truck with TNT Eugene is the guy to kill Negan with minimal effort at this point.

I am a big Glock fan. I really enjoy the G19 and 17. I have been planning to get a new G17 gen4 as an upgrade to my older variant to use for 3gun, but then I shot a VP9. The VP feels really good in my hand, and felt so natural for me when shooting it. It will be my next polymer gun. I have never shot the VP40, but if it's anything like the VP9, I wouldn't hessitate to give it a try. I'm still a Glock fan, but the VP series will have a home in my safe too.
-
Yeah. I'm a huge cabelas fan. I hope they stay separate because I like having both. I like browsing Gander also, but they're just too expensive
-
Ha. First time I've heard it

Well, I finally got caught up. Just binge watched all of season7 to current. Dang... Glenn popped an eye and bummer to see Abe go. It seems Rick found some new armed fighters at the end of the last episode. It will be interesting to see the connection with Gabriel, "BOAT", the mysterious person that followed them from the boat, and the small army that now surrounds them. I'm enjoying the season so far. Although, I would have used that Win 70 to pick off Negan's scull or maybe scavenge some dynamite to load into the back of their supply trucks... I guess they didn't try to kill him yet though because he was holding Daryl hostage. Does Rosita have bad timing or what? There was no worse time for her to try and pull that off.
