  1. Somehow I missed this one 2 years ago I'm thinking chicken on the grill tonight
  2. I don't have any stickers on any of my vehicles. I'm not really concerned about break-in. I just don't like the looks of it.
  3. I was hoping the grip was more like a gen2. Bummer if it's larger
  4. What caliber are you going to hunt with supressed?
  5. That's pretty good! Will you put the GoPro on it or another type camera? I wish my hunts were exciting enough to film. The deer have been mocking me the last few seasons
  6. I would really like to. I have the can, but my 300bo AR pistol is not really my ideal hunting weapon. I would like to get a 300bo bolt rifle, and then I would have a better setup. I also intend to thread one of my '06, but I would benefit more with the 300bo. I have a Rugged Surge 762 can. I don't have the velcro wallet, but I do have a few pairs of foam ear plugs pretty close at all times. I work in a hearing sensitive environment, so plugs are a normal part of my world. I don't usually wear them deer hunting, but I do in a duck blind for sure.
  7. That would be great. I have the Ameriglo orange Pro i-Dot on my 17 and Ameriglo orange Operator on my 19, 43 and 20. Love both of those sights by Ameriglo.
  8. Maybe they'll offer it as an option for the gen5. I would prefer steel sights for sure.
  9. My guess is the gen5 is catering to the ever-present following of gen2 lovers (me included ), so back to the simple and basic design is probably the goal. I'm not really a fan of front serrations, so I'm diggin' it.
  10. I thought those were special editions. My gen4's don't have them.
  11. They have to leave room for a gen6 someday
  12. I like it a lot. I will not be getting rid of any of my other glocks, but I'll have to have a gen5 in 19 and 17 at some point. Gen2 has always been my favorite because of the grip. This is like a gen2 with a rail and flared mag well.
  13. The mag well might be nice. I won't be getting rid of my gen2's though
  14. Sweet! And just when I thought I had all the Glocks I needed.
  15. I use the M3000 for 3gun. Great shotgun. I have not had one single hicup in about 2years of shooting, and I don't clean it much either. I added an extended mag tube, Benelli oversized bolt handle, cut off an inch of stock to reduce the LOP, shimmed the stock, added Kick ez and cheek ez pads, and opened up the loading port. When I first got it, it didn't fit me right. It kicked me hard (harder than my 870), but the stock mods turned it into a sweet shooter for me. Not much recoil at all, super reliable, and faster than I am.
  16. Good to know. That was so cool, I've almost thought about becoming an eclipse chaser though.
  17. I get a few looks when I pull out my 3gun shotgun for skeet. I find joy in it though
  18. Same for me with the one in GA. It's perfect.
  19. It still makes me sick that BP is buying Cabelas. I run into customer service issues at BP as well.
  20. I'm not sure the Chattanooga Cabelas will sell it to me since they are technically in GA. I tried to order it, and it wouldnt let me. I'm going to call them. I also found a used police trade in somewhere else for the same price with more mags. Are the older M&P's just as good as a new one if I'm going to Apex it anyway?
  21. Probably an eye problem... just can't see themselves coming into work today
  22. Alright, Cabelas has a 4.25" M&P9 new for $299, free ship to store plus rebate! I just need to figure out how to buy since they dont have a TN store. They say it has to ship to store.
  23. The eclipse sure is lasting longer now than it was earlier. It's been dark for hours...
  24. Is it normal to still be seeing spots? J/K. I'm fine. I was extra careful because my eyes are my career, and I like to see I did look at the total for a brief moment without the glasses, and it was so cool. I wanted to see it again though. It was fast.
  25. I heard some off in the distance
