  1. I did the same thing with my lower All I need now is the complete barreled upper to complete my build. I am torn between the M4 style and the midlength handguards. I am leaning towards the mid like yours. I think it would be a little better if I ever use it to hunt with. I like it. Looks great!
  2. I voted. It's a tie right now. Results: Will a restaurant or bar's decision to allow guns inside affect whether you'll go to that business? Poll Results: Yes. I won't go if guns are allowed. - 35.5% Yes. I won't go unless guns are allowed. - 35.5% No. I'll go in regardless. - 24.7% Not sure - 4.4% Total Responses - 251
  3. Isn't that why they call them sliders...... slide right on through
  4. Yes, the LEM is DAO, and there is no safety/decocking lever. Although, you could have the lever to function as a safety, and it would be a Var. 6 (I think) On pages 8-10 of your manual http://www.parkcitiestactical.com/manuals/uspc.pdf it details the different variants and configurations. There's a handy chart on page 10. From what I understand, it can be changed to any variant. I was going to paste some of the info here, but it doesn't copy well from a PDF. It sounds like you do not want to change the variant, though - just the tension on the trigger. I don't know how adjustable the trigger is..
  5. I can believe that about Taco Bell. It is the original "mystery meat". My wife actually loves Skyline, but I just can't do it.
  6. what caliber and variant do you have? I have a USPc .40 LEM variant 7. Awesome gun, but it took me a little while to get used to the trigger. It is DAO and the trigger has a very long, soft first pull with a short reset and light trigger for subsequent shots.
  7. Pertaining to WMA's from the hunting guide (pg. 41): Looks like only during the deer season. What about shotguns or archery?
  8. That would have been nice if the court would have just ruled against them on the constitutional argument. On the other hand, I wonder if that would have allowed the anti's to file an appeal first thing in the morning. I think the time is on our side. Just a thought...
  9. Anybody else get one of these on your trail cam?
  10. I lived in Cincy for a while. I always thought Skyline and GoldStar chili were like TacoBell meat, just not as good.
  11. With plans for a hearing in 90 days, that pretty much prevents an appeal right now. Hopefully things will settle down and the anti's will loose some traction by then.
  12. Amen to the stove. I just fill a medium pot with water, drop in 5 tea bags, bring it to a boil, add it to about 2 cups of sugar in a gallon pitcher, stir, add cold water to top off the pitcher, done. Mmmmmmm. Sweet Tea.
  13. Yep. Sometime I toss one of those bags in a bottle of water with some Splenda. Not as good as the real thing, but it's alright on the go. I still prefer hot brewed.
  14. One gallon of sweet tea has a shelf life of about one day at my house. Sad thing is, sometimes I am the only one drinking it. One time, out of habit, I ordered sweet tea at a restaurant in Ohio. The girl just looked at me real funny and said, "well, the sugar is right there..." (as she pointed to the packets on the table).
  15. And the few restaurants in the North that claim to serve sweet tea will bring you a big glass of Starbucks or Nestea brand nasty instant sun tea or something like it.
  16. Hahaha. I know, I couldn't resist.
  17. Sooo, who likes pancakes?
  18. Does anyone like scrapple? I know people that eat that stuff.
  19. That gives us 90 days to prove we are responsible, and they are wrong.
  20. I'm not sure on what grounds they could argue a law that grants 2A rights is unconstitutional. Great news on the injunction, or lack thereof!
  21. voted. Looks better. Do you think a judge should stop the guns-in-restaurants bill from going into effect Tuesday, July 14, 2009? Thank you for participating in our poll. Here are the results so far. Yes 49% No 51% Other 0%
