I sure wish they would stop holding the interest over my head. I figure in my life I have paid more in interest than the purchases. Fortunately, no more.

They're sharks, man. To them, you are a bad customer because you pay it off every month - they want your interest (and $10 fee). I'm trying to get rid of my credit cards (got a little debt to get off first ). That's awesome if you maintain the discipline to pay it off every month, but I pay cash (or debit card) for everything now. Credit cards are part of the enemy (for me anyway).

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. On one hand it seems like the Fed Gov't would be restricting states rights, but on the other hand it seems like the Feds would just be reinforcing the 2A no mater what state you live it. I kind of wish it would have passed.

My grandparents used to butcher all of their deer. I watched and helped out a few times when I was younger. I don't really remember too much except they would pull or shread some cuts of meat. Then they would cook it in a pot with BBQ sauce. Wow, that was great on a bun! Just like pulled pork or beaf BBQ sandwich except it was venison. :yum: I would like to start butchering my own. You really know what you are getting and how it has been processed.

I play COD & Halo series on 360. I have a Wii but don't have any shooter games for it yet. I need to renew my Xbox Live account.

I really like the Whisker Biscuit. My dad and brother both have one, and they work great. My dads does chew up a fletching every now and then, but it doesn't seen to be a problem with accuracy or speed. TN has more skunks than anywhere in the world. I'm convinced of it. They were trying to breed or something in my back yard one night and stunk up the whole neighborhood. Made my eyes water. I get to smell skunk at least once a week. I caught one in a live trap once by my trash cans - smart move that was.

I'm still looking for the average bear size here, but these two articles are interesting.

Looks like if you're licensed to hunt deer, you're also licensed to hunt bear. It's included in the Annual Sportsman or Big Game tag. Finding a place to go might be tricky, though. I have seen a lot of bear sign in Polk Co. while deer hunting and scouting (also saw some hogs ), but I don't know if it is within the allowable region to hunt bears - I'll have to check. It kind of creeped me out a little when I stumbled onto a buch of bear sign with only a bow. I would prefer to go with my bow, but I may chicken out and opt for the .30-06

I don't think that I would want to hunt them every year, but I think it would be nice to do it once or twice, especially since I live in a state that offers it. I don't know the first thing about it except what I've read and seen on TV. The bow season without dogs is 9/26-10/30 and the gun season is 11/26-11/29

Anyone planning on hunting bears this year? I have never done it, but I would like to. I have seen their sign in the woods while deer hunting and scouting. I don't have dogs, so how do you hunt them since we can't use bait?

The 2007-2008 TN hunting guide has the article stating why they oppose a point restriction. It's on about page 26 or 27. Here is the article: http://inspiredts.com/assets/huntguide.pdf I want a point restriction, and I think their logic has some flaws.
