  1. I'm ready to do away with all the parties and let Americans vote based on the candidate. Let them be judged by their character, past actions and alignment with the Constitution, but that's dreaming.... BTW, who would of thought that America would have elected someone from the Communist party?
  2. True. During the season, I ususally throw a few dry leaves down in the carry case backpack with the blind before I leave the field - just to give it that natural aroma.
  3. Thank you m&pc9
  4. Slower than molasses
  5. Got that right
  6. I love to shoot my M1903. I hunt with it sometimes. I need to take it to the range, but I'm working on the 1st I've never been to the Norris range. How far from Knoxville?
  7. Looks like it would be fun to hunt with one of the big bore airguns.

  9. Wow, Target sells comic books?
  10. You're a rebel
  11. I have considered trying out some of those Montec G5's. One piece, all steel, cut-on-contact, and they look really cool. I have more than enough Muzzy 100's that have always worked, and that's the only reason I haven't tryed them out myself. Benfield, I hunted with a 55 pound bow for years. I wouldn't try to up the poundage if it's uncomfortable because you've got enough draw weight to kill a deer.
  12. The first one I gutted, I punctured the stomach pretty early in the process. Corn. He liked corn. Didn't smell like corn, though! I like to use a small knife and work slow. I also keep a sharpener in my pack in case the knife needs a better edge. Depending on the terrain, sometimes you can position the deer to use gravity to your advantage. Just work slow, and let the stuff roll on out.
  13. Thanks for all the advice. I went with a Tapco, and I like it. It fit well in the lower and has little to no play. I also like the part about it being made in the USA . Now I just need a complete upper, but that will have to wait a couple of months...
  14. Where? I don't see any underlined words either.
  15. That's what I figured. Bummer. Well, something to look forward to next session I hope. Thanks for the info.
  16. It's always amazing what else you find in there, too.
  17. In some cases there is lower overhead with on-line retailers as well. I'm sure many local TN shops bring revenue from on-line sales to out of state customers. Those that live in KY might find a better deal from a TN on-line store than they do from Buds. That being said, I always try to support the local store as well. Sometimes you just find a substantially better deal on a particular item on line.
  18. Smelled THAT BAD, huh?
  19. I was just at Sportsman's last week in Chattanooga, and I thought for sure the sign said that you had to check all guns unless you had a permit and kept it CONCEALED (or something like that). Anyway, I had the impression that it was fine to carry if you have an HCP, but they didn't want open carry. I could be wrong, or maybe it's an old sign. I'll read it again next week.
  20. She's lucky he didn't go for the "Dutch Oven"
  21. That stinks, man. Hope it washes off.
  22. My kids love Legos. I... uh, I mean they play with them all the time Cool link.
  23. No downstairs mixup
  24. No, just quoting.
  25. Urban Dictionary: obama
