  1. Glad you found what you were looking for. I would want to replace something like that too. Good luck - hope you find one for a good price.
  2. I'm guessing internet order only without a lot of options (if your lucky)....???
  3. Nice rifle, Krull. I didn't know they chambered them in .32 - that's pretty cool. That Glenfield looks nice, too. I like lever guns!
  4. That's true. I have a 94, and it's one of my favorite. I have always just used it with iron sights. My first rifle...
  5. A little bit of a curve... comparatively speaking that is.
  6. Do you remember if the cartridge case ejected out of the top or the side? I think a Marlin has more of a "curved" stock under the lever.
  7. Awesome! I hope it happens.
  8. +1 Same for me.
  9. I have a model 94 as well that my dad bought used for me back around 1980. It's still one of my favorite deer rifles. I'd like to see the pics, too.
  10. This is about the cheapest I could find for a Smith on the internet. $219 for a Model 15 DAO .38spl. Smith & Wesson Model 15, 38Spl 4in, DAO. Good to very good condition
  11. Congrats on completing the lower! For my build, I ordered a stripped upper and LMT bolt carrier group from Bravo Co. I am very impressed with that company and the products. The barrel is next for me...
  12. Listening to that video, it sounds like he is interested in the states offering a plan like MA if they choose with incentives from the Fed Gov. I am glad that his election has put the brakes on the current bill.
  13. Yeah, that was a little strange part of the speech.
  14. Ok, I finally got it to open. I am on a slow internet connection in a hotel. I still don't trust anybody in Washington.
  15. Supported or supports? I can't open it because their server says it's too busy. I know he voted for MA's universal health care. Is this something different?
  16. .22 mag and .38 revolvers with shotshells are great against snakes and can be very affordable. If I was hunting hogs with a longbow, I would find comfort in a hand cannon on my belt though.
  17. Looks Like they are going to slow down the health care push until Brown gets seated. They are either feeling the heat or think the can buy another vote.
  18. That's a good point. You may want to consider a handgun that is also legal to hunt with (based on bbl length and caliber) during the appropriate season(s) to avoid any problems.
  19. I would recommend a short bbl single or double action revolver in .45 or .44 mag for your purposes. It's a big enough cartridge to kill a hog and has no problems shooting a shotshell for snakes. Depending on where/when I am hunting, I sometimes carry a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag with me for that purpose. I have the 4.5" bbl, so it is short enough to carry comfortably. I usually load it up with some soft points for hogs/bears/sasquatches, etc. and a couple of shot shells in case of a snake. It will be tough to find one even used for $200. I bought my Ruger new for less than $400.
  20. I'm with you. I flipped over to MSNBC just because I wanted to see Matthews cry. He's not on there - maybe he passed out
  21. That would be even better! As long as it's a united front, we stand the best chance of getting back on tract. I just don't want to see us loose to a Lib Dem by 40%, 30%- Republican, and 30% Third Party I identify myself as a Regan Conservative. I am a republican, but my values come before the party. I still think there is hope. I'm all for the Teapartys!!!!
  22. I am willing to give the Republican party another chance. I know that there are huge problems and corruption on both sides of the aisle, but I would like to see the party get back to true conservatism. The idea of a third party candidate is great, but I think it would just take votes away from the Republican and the Dem would win. Now is the time that we need to unite and vote out the offenders. The Dems are trying to force this health care down our throats, the Repubs are trying to stop it. That works for me at the moment.... I have plenty of complaints about the Repubs, their spending, etc, but I am willing to fix the party instead of scraping it. Tonight, the lesser of two evils has won, and I view it as a win for America.
  23. I don't think the average constituent will benefit enough from the payoffs to offset the fallout. I could be wrong, but the majority of their constituents oppose this health care bill by a wide margin. I'm hopeful anyway.
