  1. Instead of withholding the tip, what about getting the signatures of servers on a petion showing that they do not agree with the claim of workplace safety. Then, it could be presented in an organized fashon in our defense. Personally, I am a little uneasy about drawing too much attention to this matter within the restaurants in the first place, but that might be more effective than just skipping out on the tip. Hopefully, this won't even be an issue...
  2. Could paint it green. Asphalt and paint... that's how they "fix" the "grass" at some airports.
  3. +1 I had deer walking right under my stand and downwind of me last fall with my Thermacell on. They didn't seem to smell it at all. I also use unscented deep woods Off and tuck my pant legs into tall rubber boots. I try to "seal off" as much of my skin as possible from the ticks & chiggers.... those things are miserable.
  4. I bet Rayburn's group convinced a few servers from other restaurants that don't plan to post to join his cause. My guess is that him and his lawyers are still the driving force behind this. I have entered a restaurant that serves alcohol maybe 3-4 times in the last year since the previous law was stricken down (disarmed of course). That was because I am always carrying, but I guess it was/is an indirect boycott. However, I don't think it would accomplish anything to penalize an innocent server by not leaving a tip. I would rather focus on the trouble makers. "Collateral damage" is not an option, IMHO.
  5. Wow, this is really getting under the anti's skin! I guess state workplace safety regs only apply to servers??? A successful suit on these grounds could undermine the HCP in public places statewide. I don't think he has a case. If a server doesn't agree with a restaurant's policies, then that person needs to "vote with their feet" and find another job! Can we sue the lawyer for wasting state money on these frivolous law suits?
  6. I would choose a slingshot and keep a sword in case I miss.
  7. Talk about an alternate weapon... If that spandex gives way, all those people would be hit by shrapnel!
  8. Ahhh, a double barrel slingshot....
  9. Poor man's Gator-Tail outboard Gator-Tail Outboards - The Original Belt Driven Surface Drive Mudmotor
  10. What's that tick tock sound? Captain Hook.... before the hook.
  11. I have heard that the Kel-Tecs may have some problems during the first 200 rounds or so, but from what I understand that is their "break-in" period. I am thinking about a PF-9 as a summertime carry gun. Other than a PF-9 or a J-frame revolver, you may be looking at a .380 caliber for a new gun in the $300 range. I would take a look at the LCP and Bersa Thunder.
  12. How quiet is the muffler? If it needs to be quieter, the Stealth muffler is suppose to cut the noise by 50%. I haven't tried it though... yet. Cabela's -- Kolpin® Stealth 2.0 Exhaust System™
  13. I set mine up with a gun/bow holder on the front rack, a GPS holder on the handlebar, and a rear seat/storage bag on the rear rack. The storage on the rear rack is a must for me. I will prob add a winch to the front eventualy (right now I just keep a come-along in the storage bag). Cabela's -- Kolpin® Rhino Grip Gun Mounts Cabela's -- Mad Dog® Pro Series Utility Rear Rack Bag BTW, nice ATV!
  14. Poll: Do you agree with Gov. Bredesen's veto of the bill to allow guns in Tennessee bars? Thanks for your vote. Response Percent Votes Yes 60% 213 No 39% 139 total votes: 352
  15. Didn't say what year
  16. What kind of spineless weasel has to run and hide his face in China while the veto is being served? Stand up Governor, you're embarrassing! It's one thing to stand on one's principles, it's another to moon someone from halfway across the globe. Time for the legislature to remind him that he is wrong, again.
  17. Do they have the wolves on them in the spring, or is that just an early fall affliction?
  18. Thanks. I'll have to try that.
  19. When shooting ducks from a boat, the motor cannot be running. Dunno about squirrels.
  20. What if the theater is not crowded?
  21. I use Google Maps on my phone a lot. I can search for the name of the business, and it displays the location along with the phone #. I touch the number and the phone dials.
  22. Probably still have a handgun. It seems like that process would draw a lot of negative attention especially in a downtown setting. I think I would just avoid going in or....
  23. That sounds like fun, but I only have a 50 cal I was thinking of using my bow with Judo tipped arrows. Good practice for the upcoming deer season.
