  1. I am looking at adding a 44 mold for SBH 44mag. I see the Lee molds come in .429 or .430 which one do you recommend I get for the blackhawk?
  2. I am looking forward to a garden this year. We purchased about 40ac this fall and the old Ford tractor is ready to do some diggin'. My grandfather was a very good gardener, but unfortunately I did not ask enough questions about it while he was around. I'll have a learning curve ahead of me, so any tips and "tricks" are appreciated.   I plan to keep it simple and limited this first year until I figure out what I'm doing. I'm not sure what size and how many different plants to put out yet. Eventually, I would like to grow some green beans, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, peppers, cantaloupe, watermelon, and a little corn. Some herbs too. In the fall I hope my garden "produces" some venison, because it seems like the perfect food plot for bowhunting.   I also intend to plant a small orchard of fruit trees. Primarily apple and peach :yum:   My wife is very interested in learning to can, so it might be a busy summer for us and the kids. At least it will keep them off the couch and ipad :pleased:     Good thread!
  3. That's a good one, thanks. I forwarded that link to bunch of people
  4. I assume you are building the upper as well? I had to search for some parts recently, too. I have been finding some good parts at www.dSgarms.com in stock. It varies, but I've have good luck there at normal prices (unless theyve changed since). I also get on the "email me when it is available" lists at bravocompanyusa, midway and brownells. Then I pounce on it Immediately from my phone once I get the notification. I finally got what I needed. Good luck!
  5. I did a comparison a while back of all the powders in my loading manuals for the calibers and bullets I wanted to load for. I found most of my calibers all had data for Unique.
  6. I agree with both responses. I would pursue the legal route on this one. Did they discharge the firearm near your home?
  7. Turkey season.... now we're talkin'! All this gloom coming from DC has been dragging my mood down a little. Nothing like planning for turkey hunting to raise my spirits! About snake boots... I bought some in the fall. I got the Lacrosse Alpha Mudlite snake boots. http://www.amazon.com/LaCrosse-Alpha-Mudlite-Snake-Realtree/dp/B0070YCKXY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358006120&sr=8-1&keywords=lacrosse+rubber+snake+boots   I love these boots. I have always worn rubber boots while hunting anyway, and these are more comfy than my old boots. They are rubber and neoprene. They just feel like normal boots, so I just wear them for everything hunting.
  8. OK, I'll play.... :koolaid:
  9. Ha! That's great :)
  10. I don't remember as much about the impeachment process as I should. What kind of vote tally is required ? Simple majority? 2/3 ?
  11. States need to stand up in the name of freedom. 35-45 states pledging their full resources to uphold the constitution as it is written would get his attention and congress' attention, I think.
  12. I agree. I'll still oppose that strongly, but that seems to pale in comparison to what I think they might attempt.
  13. One thing is for sure... now is not the time to sit back and be an observer. We don't need the wild-eyed rants like Alex jones, but we do need to be heard. A very large number of people must be heard saying "NO" to the stupidity going on in DC and by the media. Whether it is contacting our reps repeatedly, peaceful demonstrations, supporting the NRA, intelligent campaigns on YouTube and the media, or other means, we must let them know that We The People will not stand for it. Nothing has been done yet, but no doubt they are sizing up their opposition every day.
  14. About equal parts of those ingredients?
  15. I completely agree. It isn't about the money or even anyone's safety for that matter... It's all about the control. An armed society cannot be tolerated by a power-hungry liberal with an agenda.
  16. I knew there is a reason handloading is so appealing to me ;)
  17. Guns and ammo are the ONLY things that even causes me to ever go into a Walmart in the first place. I'm sure they use their guns/ammo to lure people like me into the store just so I can buy all the other crap I see while I'm in there. It works, too. If I go in there to buy a box of ammo, no doubt I'll come out with other stuff too.
  18. Sadly, that's the way I read it too. Sounds as if the Feds pay for it, then they can confiscate away in TN. I hope I am misinterpreting it. Seems like this bill is concerned about our rights until that sentence then it suddenly sounds like its all about the money.
  19. Hmm... Are they saying hell froze over?
  20. They'll either say that , or.... "see, we should ban shotguns, too."
  21. I wonder what kind of break Walmart will get on obamacare if they stop selling guns/ ammo and support the anti-2a movement. Not only does obamacare give them power over individuals, it is a powerful tool in their box of corporate persuasion.
  22. What most libs fail to realize is that the 2nd preserves the 1st
