Excellent article, SteyrAUG. That should be required reading for politicians, journalists and voters alike.   I agree 100% that talks of concessions have no place at the table. The constitution is not negotiable, and we need to take back what has been lost.

The only thing I can figure is people are stocking up on accessories for all semi-autos in case that type of firearm is banned. I hope we recover from this twilight zone soon.

He will hear from me LOUD and CLEAR, but maybe that's not allowed anymore. Unbelievable!   Anyone know how Alexander and Corker voted? Silly question, maybe....

Leave a message with the aid. After hours leave a voicemail. Be sure to tell them you are a TN resident and an active voter. Then... do the same for the other 49 states! :)

I have been sending at least once a day. Just finished sending one to Alexander. Now to Corker and the others. I also did the Ruger site twice today.   WE ARE NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET! In fact, we're deep in it.   I know it's exhausting, but keep it up and spread the word.

Despicable!   I'm tempted to post up some videos and letters of kids asking to have the same rights and opportunities in this country as people before them. Put a few kids on YouTube begging (DEMANDING) for Hussein to leave the Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers. He didn't write it, and he doesn't own it!

The problem with the universal background check is that it IS a registration. Any gun produced or transferred after this law might pass is "attached" to it's owner by way of the background check. You can sell one without complying, but it will forever be the property (legally) of the person who did the last background check on it. Guns in possession before any such law would be the exception until someone transfers it through an FFL. Then it would be in the system, too. Sucks, and it must be defeated     Edit: I'm all for taking steps to make sure criminals don't get guns. I just don't think it's the gov'ts business to know what law-abiding citizens have or don't have. Therefore, this proposal steps on my toes.

  You are exactly right, this is the blueprint. At least the blueprint that we commoners were allowed to see. I bet the real plan is even worse to include the "C" word. These people in obama's little circle are up to no good, and we absolutely MUST defeat their plan.... 100% of it.
