  1. Maybe we're being too honest with these politicians. A liberal would take a play from their playbook to use the Internet to find the names and addresses of a couple of people in a Senator's district. Then send that senator daily emails from the NRA's website using their "constituent's" address. We could call in "adopt a constituent", lol.
  2. There is NO COMPROMISE on the Constitution nor any of the amendments. If you accept a compromise on the 2nd, then be prepared to compromise the 1st, 4th, 22nd, etc. We are not debating some lame law here, and it really doesn't matter what the polls or the majority of the population thinks. It's not up for negotiation... well, it shouldn't be. I write/call my reps all the time, and my vote for them rests on this issue.
  3.     They had 3 boxes of 223 yesterday, too. I left it in the case, but I'm sure it didn't last long. I saw the shorts there, too. They also had various other larger rifle ammo. More than I have seen in a while in a Walmart.
  4. I sent 3 emails yesterday, and just sent 4 more. I'll sent more this afternoon. I think I'll call Corker and Alexander now.   The NRA website and Ruger have the forms to send to all MY legislators. Is there a form out there on the Web that will let me send to ALL the senators and congressmen at once? I want to start emailing and calling offices that are for gun control and not just TN reps.
  5. More dangerous than the con man that won in November? I think not. I like Rand Paul. The RNC needs to wake up and learn from him, Demint and the like. We need some heroes of the Constitution to gain some steam and reclaim some ground. If Hilary ages the next four years like she did the last four, she'll be in rough condition come election time.
  6. I am on my ipad4 right now. I have not upgraded to the new ios6.1 yet. I can't see any videos either. My android phone still has them though (hmm... how can I display the thumbs up emoticon from my ipad?) I'm still not sure about the switch to Apple :/
  7. I have been fighting to stay off Apple, but it just got an ipad. Frustrating not seeing the vids. Wife just bought me an iphone5 to replace my droid :/ also. I am reluctant, but my whole family is on iSomething... I guess I'll have to go to the YouTube app to watch :(
  8. I like the idea. I don't see a legitimate background check as an infringement. "Legitimate" being the key word. If it only checks the person and does not link the person to the firearm, then it's not a back door registration.
  9. Maybe every FFL receiving a used gun could run the serial # to check the gun's status before it is even offered for sale.
  10. I agree. He usually responds to all of my emails within a couple of hours (usually less) with the tag line "sent from my ipad".
  11. Who needs sights or scope when there's no ammo... ?
  12. It wouldn't be 2013 without a laser ;) Or maybe he has calibrated eyes, lol
  13. The universal background check idea has me nervous. I'm all for making sure crazies don't get guns, but the univ background check seems like a watered down name for a registration on any gun transferred or purchased in the future.

  15. Depends on how long you wait on gravity to do its thing, but I would say that's definitely a staged photo anyway
  16. Lol. My eyes are watering from laughing
  17. What about strike anywhere match heads for primer making? Might take some trial and error, but would it work?
  18. For the safety of the children always carry toenail clippers in an ankle holster as a backup.           The people in charge of our country have lost their marbles.
  19.   You have to have a BIG check for all those zeros. :)
  20. There's a lot of people that are getting everything on their wishlist all at one time. Who knows how many people knew they wanted a 10/22 at sometime in their life, but until a month ago thought they had plenty of time to get it. Now. all of a sudden, everyone is trying to get the same guns at the same time. We are "in the loop" with information more than most sheeple, and I can wait to find what I want at the right price. However, there will be plenty of people willing to pay double until guns return to the shelves at normal prices I think.   I left 30 round Pmags on the shelf at a LGS the other day that I thought were overpriced. The market will balance as long as we can keep any ban at bay.
  21. I hope it earns him the...
  22. Boxer want to control... everything. These lawmakers are wearing me out just trying to keep up.
  23.    I agree. It would be just like them to let this bill "appear" to die in hopes of dwindling the pro-2A momentum while working behind the scenes to influence corporate/political opinions. Then, wham... they surprise us with a vote on their time frame. We must continue to bombard our reps with email/phone calls for some time. It's tiring, but these are serious times. I have saved the Ruger and NRA links at the top of my browser. I hit it at least once a day (usually 3). I hope there are a plethora of people across the USA that develop a routine for contacting their reps on this issue for the long haul.
