What is the legal length for carrying a pocket knife? I know that I violate that rule everyday. However, as I am getting older and have no desire to go to jail I will get into compliance as soon as I get a response.

The cost does not concern me. However, each time that I am ready to join I find something else to purchase. First it was motorcycles, then golf clubs, and now I go to sleep thing about how to fund another gun. I am hopeless. If I join I hope that I meet some good people there. I love to learn new things when it comes to shooting.

I have said it before and I will say it again. If you are a law abiding citizen and don't run around with criminals your chances of being a victim of crime in Memphis are as low as they are in any part of the state. I read this in another post recently and I agree with the statement " In Memphis when a crime is reported one thug has to be the victim" that is Memphis crime in a nut shell. I know hundreds of people in Memphis and they have been victims of "Memphis crime" as many times as someone living in Knoxville. It rarely happens to law abiding citizens.

Wow, I never thought about it. I just go in, conduct my business and leave. I never thought that I was violating the law. I guess that I am too comfortable carrying. I know that the weapon is there and I am aware of my surroundings, but when I am moving about I never put very much thought into where I can carry.

the political climate these days is getting to be more about picking a side rather than really working towards solutions that are good for everybody... there are old tricks at work that haven't been dusted off and are being put back in action, that's all. I agree completely. Nobody votes the issues anymore...just sides. That is so stupid and the politicians on both sides love us for it.
