  1. I have had two for a couple of years now, but I never use them. I have one in the car and the other is waiting for my wife, but she won't carry. I have very few situations where I have to leave my weapon in the car. It's nice to have it if I need it.
  2. I like the idea of the Kimber Crimson Carry, but I don't think that it is 5 inches. I have the CTC laser grips on four of my guns and that's always a plus when I make a purchase.
  3. Thanks for the info. I have seen several Kimbers, but I have yes to decide on a model. I know for certain that I like the SA loaded black stainless 1911. I am saving money to make a purchase soon unless I find a 6.8 flat top upper that I like first.
  4. Hi, I would like to know the average prices paid for stainless steel 5" Kimber and Springfield Armory 1911s in Tennessee. Thanks for any input.
  5. You lost your mind when you asked that question. Just kidding. Never would I make that trade. Do what I have decided to do. Keep your old guns and save for the new gun. It is hard to be patient, but it beats the remorse of getting rid of a gun that you like. I was looking to trade almost all of my guns for a motorcycle last year. I am glad no one took me up on it.
  6. G19! I have the g19, g36, g26, M&P9, M&P45. I choose the g19 over any of them any day. I purchased the g19 one day, took it home, cleaned it then shot a defensive trainging class the following day. Best shooter that I have every used. I like my other guns, but when it is time to leave the house I take the g19, knife, surefire light, spare mag and I am good to go.
  7. Saving for one now. I have been wanting to trade one of my M&P or Glock pistols, but I find myself too emotionally attached to them.
  8. What's the name of the range?
  9. Congrats to you and your brother. It must be nice to be able to barter with your gun dealer. My former dealer always treated me like crap (10 gun purchases). They always had a take it or leave attitude. I guess I was a glutton for punishment. I hope that you and your brother enjoy many years of shooting.
  10. I like the loaded. I am saving my money for the SA loaded or 6.8 upper for my AR. I will decide in a couple of weeks.
  11. Mine is from a Clint Eastwood movie and very simple. "Dying ain't much of a livin boy". Not even in the same league, but I like it.
  12. That's the same story that I hear from alot of spx owners. They are perfect or they are jam o matics. Believe it or not I got mine back in August and I have yet to shoot it. I may get over to Range USA in a week or two and do a little shooting. When I purchased it I was doing my shooting in Brighton, but that range has since closed so I have only been shooting my g19( edc) on a regular basis.
  13. What problem did you have with your spx?
  14. The former mayor was a world class butt, but statements like yours do just as much harm. Most victims of crime in Memphis know the suspects. Because the area has a large population of blacks does not mean that every black person in Memphis is out to get you. That's just bs.
  15. I know what you mean. I was going up to Brighton Arms (about 45 min drive from Memphis), but they suddenly closed. I plan to join MSSA in Arlington in June. I hate having my M&P 15T and 15-22 and being limited to 25 yards. I have a Mossberg 930spx that I have yet to shoot( I have cleaned it three times without one round thru it). I think the $500 joining fee will be worth it to get rid of this frustration.
  16. I could care less what a person wears into a gun shop. I simply like the fact that he/she believes in our right to own firearms. I am conservative in my views, but I understand the other side. You are feeling what they felt when Bush was in office. We are still in America and they can support/wear whatever they choose. When the tide changes in a few years the other side will be wondering why you supported the person that you support and they will have to deal with it. Personally, I think both parties suck.
  17. Why does he want to be a part of a group that does not want him? Learn to follow the rules. Isn't that what we teach our kids? I wonder if he heard me?
  18. Congrats on your purchase.
  19. I have been on the 6.8 forums, but I was only looking at the uppers for sale. I guess I will look at the reviews of the model 7. Thanks.
  20. Which model is used on the g36? I did not know that they made one. I have the CTC grips on my M&P 45, M&P9, g26, and g19. If I could get for my g36 I would be set.
  21. I have the Mossberg 930spx. Get s0me!
  22. What bipod is that? Is the bipod attached directly to the quadrail?
  23. More opinions?
  24. M&P 15T with CTC MVF515, Eotech w/magnifer, CTR and Timney trigger.
