  1. Honestly officer... everytime I see blue lights I myself.
  2. I moved the eotech forward a few inches to install the 3x magnifier and did not zero the sight. I was not even on paper the first few rounds. Can you imagine the feeling you get in your stomach when you check your target and don't have a single round in it? It sucks.
  3. Nice. I would like to have seen more shooting.
  4. I think that I fixed the picture. Click on the picture to enlarge. It is a bit dark.
  5. Have you guys thought about Sportsmans Choice (old Brighton Arms) in Brighton? They only have six or eight lanes, but could easily handle a small group. By choosing this location we can also fire our rifles and shotguns. I live near Southwind and it only takes me fifty minutes to drive to Brighton so it should not be a bad drive for most Memphians. Just something to think about if RangeUSA can't come up with enough lanes for a meet.
  6. I don't remember when I got my first permit. I do know that it was long enough ago that the local sheriff was still handing them out and they were yellow like the Sheriffs Dept. identification.
  7. I am no longer active, but I believe that such things will not occur. As far as my weapons...no one will lay a hand on them. Enough about that. The Dems expect to get spanked in November as they should (they are weak). I simply do not expect this event to occur.
  8. Sounds like someone is looking for the boogey man. I am more concerned about keeping my job, paying my kids tuition and earthquakes. In three years I want to see if some of you are still freaking out about the government being the government. The face will change, but the screwing won't stop. But, as I have stated before "You will be more comfortable with the screwing because it will be your MAN doing the screwing". All three sides (Dems, Gop and Tea Party) are stupid hacks with no real plan for the future of this country, but you love your side because they tell you what you want to hear. Good luck to you all.
  9. Well, I got the EOTech on paper today at 25yrds. Saturday was so embarassing. Now to fine tune it. As you can see I had to walk it in from the left a little.
  10. Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I will use the old field expedient until I get by Autozone to purchase some RainX.
  11. Where can I purchase one or two pairs. Whenever I am shooting my shooting glasses always fog up. I need some relief. Thanks for any help.

    Why? Just, why?

That's what I was thinking. Scary.
  13. So, I am at the range with my M&P15T with all the tacticool lights, lasers, bells and whistles. I had recently moved my EOTech a couple of inches forward on the rail to install my 3xmagnifier. I ensure that the bolt is sloppy wet and I am ready to start blasting. From 25 yds I missed the target completely. Talk about embarassed. Instead of zeroing the eotech I just went to the iron sights which I can see in the lower 1/3 of the eotech and all was well. I also used the the CTC MVF515 for the first time. It was about 3 inches high out of the box which is easily corrected. I view my range time just like I view golf. "There is no such thing as a bad day of golf or a bad day at the range". I guess I will go up to the old Brighton Arms to take the time to zero the eotech. The last couple of times I was there it was not crowded and I felt like I had my own private range.
  14. I had my shoot and see targets set up and my goal was to work on my trigger control. I had a beautiful target (6 circles) going when this young couple with a rented Kriss? starts shooting next to me. The guy was all over the place, but at least he stayed on his target. He lets his lady shoot and all of a sudden she starts repeatedly jacking up my target. I did not make a big deal out of it because I knew that they were just young people having fun. I just wish the ranges could make sure people had some kind of training prior to letting them lose on the range.
  15. I got pulled over by MPD officer because I passed him. I was not speeding. I simply passed him. He was a bitter old guy. I figured he had missed promotions or been demoted and he simply was nasty to everyone he encountered. I have never been a civilian officer, but I was an Army MP and a country corrections officer when I was younger so I give the officers their respect regardless if they deserve it or not. I think after a while a cop can become jaded and simply treats everyone like a criminal. Around Memphis you are in a no win situation when trying to explain something to some officers. I would rather lawyer up and try to get my justice from a judge.
  16. Radio show host, cable news talking heads, politicians, pimps and preachers. Tell the people what they want to hear and keep them coming back for more. It's ALL about ratings!
  17. Thank you. Some people would have you think that nothing happens outside of the Memphis city limits. Crime is everywhere.
  18. Why did I know that someone would say that?
  19. G36 is your only real choice here.
  20. I like Couples, but character won't win the Masters. Freddie will fade by saturday.
  21. I took my 14 year old son to RangeUSA a few weeks ago to shoot the 15-22. No problems and he had a blast. No pun intended.
  22. I hate to hear that, but it sounds like you guys had really bad luck. I guess my odds must be going down, because the crime spree has not touched me, my family or my friends. I hope that you have better luck wherever you are now.
  23. It's all for the money, he wouldn't do it if unintelligent people didn't support him. +1 In another life he would be a politician.
