+1 It is rare air to find someone who uses common sense when it comes to our President. The same people were in church on sunday fooling themselves into thinking that they were full of love and compassion.

Possibly the Best Political Campaign Ad Ever !

+1 Yes, they are all lying pimps and they have lots of faithful whores. -
I am a Gubmint employee and we are not allowed to have guns on the parking lot. My friends I simply mounted safes in our cars and park on the street near the security shack. It's like having armed guards watching over your secured firearms. Problem solved.

quote TGO David My Glock 19 retains a soft spot in my heart for being the AK47 of the handgun world, but my M&P 9mm has taken it's place as 9mm of choice for every day carry. Wow. I have gone in the opposite direction. I have the Apex set up in my M&P 9mm and it is great (I also had the Apex hard sear and fpb in my old M&P .45 that now belongs to a lucky fellow TGOer), but nothing can make me leave that g19 in the safe when I leave home. Give the Apex parts a try in your compact or .40 and you will see why they are so hyped up. Those parts make for a smooth firing pistol all for around $70.

I live near the Fedex world headquarters. In the 19yrs that I have been here we have never had any issues, but I know that there can always be a first time. Better to be prepared.

Thanks guys. I am so proud that she did not panic and do nothing.

I have received no phone calls, but I do get all of the junk mail. I renewed my membership a few months ago. I still have not received the knife I requested.

When I got in tonight my wife asked me to ensure that she had secured the safe. I asked why and she said that she had taken out the Mossberg because my daughter thought that she heard someone on the patio. Turns out that the wind was blowing very hard and had knocked over the garbage can. I asked her if she was afraid and she replied no because she was prepared to do what she had to do. I was really proud that she was ready to defend not only herself, but my kids and my home. It's funny that I had talked with her earlier in the day about getting more training. Hopefully I can get her as gong ho as us TGOers.

America's Growing Vulnerability to Catastrophe
Links2k replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
They are ALL bad! Middle class and poor people are stupid for trusting any of them. Todays politians' main job is to protect big business and secure their financial futures. They could care less about small/medium business or the working man. Yet, we continue to choose sides and fight against someone who is sinking in the same boat that we are in. You have be insane to trust/ believe any of them. -
siren over my house has been going off since 3am....that sucks, no sleep at all

I have two kids in private schools and one graduating from U of M soon. They have always known that I would make them disappear for embarrassing our family for any reason. The same goes for the teacher that does anything other than using the paddle if they cut up in school. Kids should be raised to respect adults. My children know not to act out toward adults. They bring the issues to me or their mom and we deal with the adults.
-
Now you have gone and taken away a reason for them to conspire. The book had to be about a secret Muslim plan to destroy America. Why else would he be reading it? God forbid he have an idea about what's happening outside of our borders.
-
These kids are horrible today, but no adult should put their hands on someone elses kid with the exception of a principle giving a paddling for a flagrant violation. I am sure those kids are buttholes (show me a group of teens that aren't), but that guy was out of line. There is no way that I could be a teacher, because I know that I would want to knock the crap out of one of those kids on a daily basis. THEY HAVE NO FEAR!
-
I am old school also. I have had my share of teachers/coaches being physical with me back in the day, but that was me. I don't want anyone laying a hand on any of my kids. My children have been raised right and if they get out of hand (which has rarely happened) their teachers know that I will correct them. Adults keep your hands to yourselves.

Once again BHO disreguards the law and writes in what he wants to.

I think that we are nine years too late for that. -
Eighteen years of marriage and working with a large group of women have damaged me. The only other women I need in my life are guns and golf clubs.

You are correct. The model is TA01NSN.

You practice this alot in RUSAs SD handgun class. If you practice it regularly at home with snap caps it becomes second nature.

Obama Leaves Out White Americans
Links2k replied to dubya3488's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You are a voice of reason. Some of these guys are like petty little 13 year old girls. Always looking for a reason to start some . Too much time on their hands. -
In my eighteen years of marriage I find that I can't sleep when my wife is away on business trips because I miss her snoring. To me it's just another ambient noise, but I miss it when it is not there.

Site for a small Memphis area gathering?
Links2k replied to Links2k's topic in Events and Gatherings
I don't think that anyone was ripping on RUSA. The people at RUSA are as good as they come. Some of the other ranges and dealers in the area could learn a great deal about customer service from RUSA. Their reasons for requiring frangible ammo is valid and that is their right. I simply made mention that the $15 magazine sort of hurts the pocket when I have a few thousand rounds of Remington .223 sitting around. -
A few months ago I was bragging to a former co-worker about my AR-15 with EOtech and 3x magnifier when I mentioned that I would like to try a ACOG, because I could have gotten one for what I spent on the eotech and magnifier separately during the great Obama scare. He proceeded to tell me that he owned two ACOGS (one older and a newer model with a fiber optic reticle). After telling me how great ACOGs are and how he and his buddies enjoyed using them at a gravel pit near his home in Arkansas (I am still pissed that he never invited me across the river to shoot with them) he offered me the older ACOG free of charge. I received as a gift a used/slightly beaten TA0NSN model ACOG. He stated that he had purchased a newer model with a fiber optic reticle. The sight that I received has a black reticle during the day and a amber reticle during the night. I have never used one and I am considering selling it after I try it out (it has sat in my safe while I played with the CTC515), but before I make that decision I would like to know if they any good for hunting or is this simply a tacticool sight? I am looking for a 6.8 or .308 rifle and if I can use this scope I won't have to purchase that Leupold Mark 4 that I covet. Any insight that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
