What are they going to say? We screwed up royally, we dropped the ball, here is partial refund. The way that they behaved I don't think that the employees cared at all.

I always list my pistols here first. I guess everyone was broke or satisfied with what they had in the safe. The TRP sold on TGO and a guy in Wyoming got a very good price on the Les Baer. We were both happy with the deal until the poor CS.

My buyer got the pistol yesturday and he is very pleased. That is the only up side to this mess.

I was supporting a local business that up until then had treated me extremely well.

As some of you know I have been a big fan of RUSA and have had nothing negative to say about them on this forum. That ends today. I sold a pistol to a gentleman in Wy last week and he promptly sent payment which I received (3) days later. Within a hour of receiving payment I took the pistol to RUSA (friday 8/6). I went to RUSA because they had received a pistol for me in the past so I was feeling good about them. I took the pistol inside and told the lady that I wanted to ship the pistol to a ffl in WY. After her response "You know that you can ship that yourself thru FedEx or UPS" I should have taken my pistol and left, but I didn't because I liked/trusted them to get the job done. I filled out the required paperwork, paid a premium fee for shipping, gave her custody of the gun and left feeling confident that my buyer would have his gun in short order. Well, when I called monday to see if it had shipped I am told no, because the owner had not been in, but "it should ship today". Tuesday was more of the same. "It's going out today". The entire time I have a buyer roasting my ass because I have his money and RUSA when they talk to him is telling him that the pistol has shipped but no one can give him a tracking number because the owner is not there. They finally shipped the pistol yesturday (wednesday) evening at 4:30. The buyer is pissing mad and I am pissed because whenever I called they (RUSA) made me feel like I was bothering them. This is really bad business. I will never do any transfers with them again. It is a shame, because in my opinion they have the best range in the area. Thanks for letting me rant. I feel better now.

I prefer my guns new from the shop or like new. I don't trust people to maintain their guns like I do. I am very anal about my guns.

I like that remington alot. I have seen that on buda the last couple of months. As stated above I am going with a trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 with amber reticle for hunting and a Monarch 5-20x50 for my long range paper killing.

With what you all are saying and what I have stated that I am going to use the rifle for which DPMS would better suit my purposes the LR308B or the LR308L. Honestly I will prob shot more paper than game.

Over the last week or two I have been debating the purchase of a .308 or 6.8 rifle. I had narrowed my choices down to the Wilson Combat 6.8 recon, Stag model 7 6.8 or Remington 700 sps tactical. I now have added the R25 to the mix. I plan to use this rifle for target shooting and hunting. I will be purchasing two scopes for which ever rifle that I purchase (trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 with amber reticle for hunting and nikon monarch 5-20-50 for target shooting). Does anyone own this rifle and what are opinions of this rifle?
